I was so excited to be included in the testing for this product but became very disappointed after I used it. To be honest it didn't really do anything for me. When I was tired I looked tired. And especially for the price, way to expensive in my books.

I got this cream as a reviewer for Chickadvisor. The packaging, including the jar, is really nice, and the cream has a pleasant smell to it. Unfortunately, it's too rich for my skin. The cream just sits on top of my face and makes it shiny, and it doesn't seem to absorb that well.

Maybe this is just not for my skin type, and somebody with drier skin would find it useful.

I was lucky to try this product for free. The pink and silver tub was very pretty and elegant. The cream was very soft and whipped. It glided on nicely and spread evenly. It was non greasy and a little goes a long way. It absorbs nicely into your skin and does leave your skin feeling moisturized.
I have been using it for 2 and a half weeks now.
I was thrilled to be chosen to test this product but was very disappointed to see absolutely no change in my skin. I do not see my skin as more suple, or less fatigued and upon awakening I have not noticed more radiant, smooth and rested skin.
In general I did not notice any difference between the vichy skin sleep and my old nightly moisturizer I was using before.

My first impression: a thick, very rich feeling face cream. It absorbed well on my hands, but I found it a little heavy on my face; maybe I had put on too much. It had a subtle floral scent, maybe lilacs?
The next Night: I found it was quite heavy, and left my skin feeling a bit sticky afterwards. However, it definitely felt moisturized the next morning.
After using it for a couple nights, I broke out in a rash! I had tiny red bumps all along my cheeks, forehead, and jawline. I took an anti-histamine, and washed the cream off, and the bumps had gone by the next night.
I'm wondering if I reacted to the fragrance, or a particular compound in the cream.
I tried the cream a few more times, and in different places, but still ended up with a rash.

When I received my gift 2 weeks ago, I was impressed with the look/feel of the bottles. They appear high quality and very luminescent. However, the pump bottle is very finicky. You have to hold it very firmly and push the pumper straight down. If there's any angle on the push, it will not pump. Hard to do with damp hands after washing my face. I am sensitive to scents, however the scent of both these products is light and natural.

1.How did Skin Sleep / Life Serum perform based on its advertised benefits: Moisture is the advertised benefit and it does moisturize, however it provided too much moisture and caused my skin to be oily & I developed larger pores and a few pimples.

2.How did Skin Sleep / Life Serum perform compared to similar skin care products you have used in the past? I havent tried any similar products as they are usually quite pricey, however I use a basic moisturizer at night and they (Aveeno, St. Ives) moisturize without causing breakouts.

3.Would you recommend Vichy Idealia to a family member and/or friend? I might if they needed intense moisture and didn't have sensitive or oily/combination skin to begin with. However, there are much cheaper products that do better for me, and I would recommend those before I recommended these products.

4.Is this a product you'd consider purchasing again? No. Due to the fact that it caused my pores to become inflamed, caused cystic acne, and it is also very expensive. Products that cost 1/5 the price work better for me and my sensitive skin.

After using this nightly since I received it, I have to say that I did not find my difference in my skin. It was nice and light on my face with a little tingly feeling and minimal fragrance but other than that I did not think it was worth the retail price. It was very easy to use.

I was so excited when I received this in the mail. Unforuntly this product didn't work for me. I was abit hesitant to try it as I have sensitive skin, but I was really hoping for the best. This didn't irritate too much (thank god)
I gave it to my mother and she has been enjoying it.

Well, it smell good, it looks good, but the texture is not very great, it stays on your skin and you finger for far to long. I was pretty excited when I received it because it was really suppose to fit my skin, but I never saw any difference by using it. My skin is exactly the same, no real change in the morning... So, I am pretty disappointed.

Ok I was so excited to get this product but I cannot believe how disappointed i am :(

1) the scent - smells like perfume my grandma used - not a fan of strong rose scents
2) tacky - sticky, the gel felt great but took forever (next morning) to sink in. Don't like tacky feeling skin
3) pro- smooth - did feel smooth in the morning

Hated the scent - gives me a headache and the product stays sticky for hours not pleasant not at all :(

Wanted to like it. Wanted to love it. Cant. Can't recommend it at all...4
