I was one of the lucky ladies who received this product as part of the product review club. Immediately after the first use i noticed a difference! my skin was way softer and looked smoother and plumper. the results became more obvious with each use. you don't have to use that much of the product to cover your full face which helps because the product is a bit pricey so it's good to know that the bottle will last a long time. I've only used one night cream before and it was by the body shop and i didn't notice a difference after i finished it. the vichy product is way better! There are only two things I didn't like, one was the smell. Don't get me wrong I like it it smells nice. I just feel like the scent is a little too strong for my own personal taste. Secondly I don't like the jar. I personally prefer tubes or something as I'm a germaphobe. I know all the night creams I've used come in jars so it's not a knock at vichy. hopefully someone can come up with something better than a jar that is constantly open and getting fingers in it.

I have been using Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep for the past couple weeks after receiving it from ChickAdvisor (thanks by the way). The product is a lightweight mix of a gel and cream, not as light as a gel, but not as heavy as a cream. While quite expensive, the product is rather effective, offering a hydrated, moisturized look after only a few nights of use. Additionally, it is fast absorbing and non-greasy in nature. Given the small amount required each night, the jar should last for some time!

I am not too sure about this one.. I usually really like Vichy product, and I had high expectations for this cream. However I did not find it hydrating enough for my skin. another thing that bothered me was the perfume: smells great but too overpowering for putting on right before going to sleep. Not a bad product but personally I will go back to my other Vichy lines with I prefer and are much more hydrating (Aquaria Thermal)

How did Skin Sleep perform based on its advertised benefits (e.g. increased hydration, smoother-looking skin, etc)?

I think this product is great! It's a smooth gel like cream that has a light scent which is not overpowering. It immediately made my skin feel softer and definitely made it more hydrated. It did not burn or irritate my skin right from the first use. I really like this and would recommend it to anyone who does not have overly sensitive skin. I have an eye eczema and it did irritate it a bit, but if you don't have that, then it could work for you really well!

How did Skin Sleep perform compared to similar skin care products you have used in the past?

It compares as better than other night creams I have used In the morning, I thought my skin felt really smooth. Much more smooth than after using other night creams.

Would you recommend Vichy Idealia to a family member and/or friend?

Yes, I definitely would recommend it t anyone with normal to dry skin.

I would purchase this product. It just out performed on skin smoothness after one day.

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep kept my skin hydrated all night. I would put it on at night right after the Vichy Idealia Life Serum and the morning I would wake up in the morning with hydrated glowing skin. The creamy is absorbed to my skin quickly and isn't greasy or heavy. It doesn't leave any residue on the pillowcase. I would recommend this product to everyone!

Light going on and hydrated my skin enough without feeling heavy. Loved the gel consistency. I did t see any directions really sent with my sample but would of likes to have known if to place near under eyes or neck and chest area.
I didn't get any acne or rash as I have both skin issues at times
I'm a little sensitive to frangrance that would be my only minus on this product. However it didn't affect my skin in any way. My skin looked brighter and my pores seemed smaller after using it a few Weeks. Thank you

Thank you Chickadvisor for sending me this product to try out. I really liked the light weightedness of this skin cream. It isn't as thick as some night creams I've used but it still has a lot of moisturizing properties and felt really creamy and smooth when I put it on. It doesn't feel overly greasy. It has a faint aroma so people who are sensitive to perfumes might not like this product but I didn't experience any problems with it.

I think it would be a great product to use year round including the winter when my skin gets more dry as I use a more gel/aqueous based product most of the time. If you like creams that provide good moisture, without the heaviness or greasiness of other night creams, you might want to try this.

I tested it for 2 weeks, I liked the way it felt on my skin and it works well with the Idealia LIfe Serum, but I have to say that the product is too expensive compared to other products that I use and that are just as effective. Vichy is a great company but I find they put too much emphasis on packaging (the jar is beautiful and with a mirror on the cover is a nice touch) but I just want to pay for a product not the packaging. I would be willing to pay up to $25.00 but not $52.00.

Initially my face was a little sticky after application (I’m assuming because it has a gel consistency), but that does dissipate to a smooth finish.

After trying these products for 2 weeks, overall I did notice small changes in my face, where my face is a little brighter and there is not as much redness. I can’t say what is responsible for the change, the combination of the serum and skin sleep or just the serum, personally I would have to experiment with the products separately to see if I could use one without the other, especially for these price points.
