As a busy Mom who experiences occasional sleeplessness, I was very eager to try this product. As it turned it out, during my two week trial period, I had a massive head cold with coughing and was up throughout the night.

The products has a nice light gel-consistency and pleasant light fragrance. As someone who is prone to oily skin and some blemishes I was very pleased that it didn't leave my skin feeling greasy and I didn't break-out. The only thing I would change about the product is that it comes in an open jar. I prefer my products to be in a pump.

I was actually really surprised how well this product worked under some pretty tough conditions. Although I was quite sick and was only getting 5-6 hours of rest overnight my skin looked great! My skin was hydrated, seemed firmer, smoother, more toned and best of all, I looked like I had a restful eight hours of sleep. I didn't even have that puffy face most of us seem to get with really bad head colds.

I have used several other high-end brands of facial serums and I am really impressed. In fact, I was so impressed I went to my local Shoppers Drug Mart to look into Vichy's eye creams and I'll be getting one of those too! This is a product I don't mind spending money on and I have been telling all my friends and family about Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep. I think everyone should try it!

Skin Sleep. Sleep. Need I say more? As a mom of an almost 3 year old boy who is expected baby #2 any day not, I can honestly say that I haven't slept 8 hours a night straight through in a very very long time. So any product that claims to make me look like I have slept for at least that length of time is going to be on my list of things to try. Lucky me that I was chosen to try this one for free!

Now I was skeptical that any product could make my face look rested. I mean, really? I don't even know what "rested" means anymore. I used the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep every night for two full weeks, but it didn't take that long to see results. The very first morning after using it my skin looked better. Brighter, smoother, refreshed. I was thoroughly pleased. I've continued to see these amazing results over the two weeks, and even feel like I could go makeup free. Maybe. Maybe if Chick Advisor had also sent along the Idealia Eyes too...

I found the Skin Sleep to be quite thick and sort of sticky after applied. It did kind of feel like it sat on the surface of my skin and took quite a while to soak in. But after seeing the results, that didn't matter. I really like the smell of this. It's almost like a light rose smell. Nothing chemically or offensive, so the smell didn't bother me when I was trying to fall asleep (and with my pregnant nose, that's a miracle!).

So if you're not sleeping through the night like me, give this a try! It might not keep your toddler or newborn from waking you up throughout the night, but at least your skin can sleep through it all!

I received this product from Chick Advisor. I've been using it for the past few weeks and danggg i love it. First of all, the texture is really nice. It's more like a gel but when you apply it, it feels like a balm, without being sticky or anything. I was scared i would break out ( my skin tends to do that duh ) but nope, not at all. I noticed the first morning that my skin was more comfortable, more moisturized. It felt great. I started using the serum too but only in the morning so i could get this nice glowy skin.

Now let's talk about all my bad habits. I'm in law school, i live on redbull and coffee therefore i don't sleep much... Moreover, i smoke cigarettes when i'm nervous and i hate wearing sunscreen on a daily basis. Awesome... I know. Mom must be so proud. #shame

This product does wonder. There is some AHA in it, a gentle exfoliation, and really i saw a big difference with fine lines on my forehead from frowning too much. The smell is really soothing and made specially to be a part of your g'night routine. The texture is rich, but just enough so you feel it when it's applied. It penetrates fast. I was under the impression that my skin was kind of detoxified ( yes sister ), i get a lot of blackheads on my chin from PMS & smoking. It really helped with this issue; that made me really really happy. Then...

Overall, i really enjoyed using this product. I still look tired but my skin def' looks healthier. I'm happy ´cause summer is here, and my new glow is pretty enough to keep me away from foundation during the day.

Not only will i purchase this again, i plan on buying the BB cream and the eye contour. Also, as a beauty consultant in a drugstore, i'll be happy to present this product to my new and existent customers.

Vichy Skin Sleep gel-balm moisturizer unites a bunch of active igredients such as hyaluronic acid (a skin smoother and plumper) and glycyrrhizic acid, a compound found in liquorice root which prevents skin from flaking and helps it maintain moisture. Vichy's website recommended using the product 1-3x per week, but for the sake of this review, I decided to use it every day (also, let's be honest) my skin needed it. I received my products a little later than everybody else so I'm only updating now!

The gel-balm was pink, bouncy and very soothing on the skin, and each evening I would apply a medium layer over my entire face and let it sink in as I slept. From even the first morning after using Skin Sleep, I noticed my skin was softer and looked MUCH more relaxed and healthy! I was really impressed with how noticable the results were.

Two weeks later, I'm still finding that my skin is soft and supple in the morning, making me look rested even if I don't feel like I am!

The balm does have a slightly-strong smell of floral, almost a jasmine, but I find it didn't irritate me. People with more sensitive noses may need to smell it before buying.

This is a truly rich and luxurious face cream!

The pretty pink packaging and mirrored lid is beautiful, although I never like containers I need to dip my fingers into. I'd much prefer a pump bottle.

The cream itself has a strong, but pleasant floral fragrance and is very silky. It is very relaxing to apply. The viscosity is quite thick and slightly tacky, but it does absorb nicely by morning.

It did indeed calm my sensitive skin, and seemed to relax my shallow forehead wrinkles. But I didn't notice a huge improvement. I think this will be a very nice cream for dry nights in the wintertime.

I received this as a product tester a while ago but forgot to upload the review (oops!!) But here is my review!

First impressions:

Beautiful packaging!! Seriously! Gorgeous! When I opened the package and felt the skin sleep cream, it was so velvety and smooth. I put it on my wrist as a tester to make sure it didn't react with my skin. By nightfall, I forgot that it was even there, it is very light, not dense at all. Absorbs into the skin fast, unlike some of the other luxury creams I've tried in the past.

1 week later:

Not sure if i can tell the difference in my skin yet but I have noticed a slight difference in my skin's texture. It felt more like a baby's skin haha. It could also be my clarisonic's work of removing dead skin, but I wasn't sure.

2 weeks later:

Ok, so it definitely is the cream. Yes, the clarisonic does wonders on my face, but combined with the Skin Sleep, my face looked more energized in the mornings.

I recommend this product to those who don't get their full 6-8hrs of sleep at night and wants to see a more energized face when they wake up!

I love this idealia skin sleep product. It is definitely a life saver. Sometimes I have dark circle eyes and my everyday life is pretty stressful. It helps improve my overall appearance and my skin looks radiant.

With in just a few days of using a noticed a change in my skin. Ive had dry patches that other creams did not help. Now my skin is even and feeling amazing, friends and family have all commented on my skin. Its worth the extra cost and I will be continuing with this.

Since I've been using this product I noticed my skin is glowing, I seem younger and my skin is really soft, somebody even asked me for my ID at the store, that means is really working!!!

I was excited to get to test this of for free along with the Vichy Idealia Life Serum. I liked the smell and how light the cream was. To be honest I didn't find it helped much and left my face feeling greasy. It might work for someone who doesn't have oily/combination skin like I do.
