It's not often that I use the same moisturizer two nights in a row preferring to go between at least two different options. Currently one is a vitamin C moisturizer the other is a hydrating formula, although i will throw in a facial oil from time to time. Anything with too many active ingredients can irritate my skin, which is the reason for this mixing of products. This preamble is leading up to that, while trying out this new Idealia product I did try to use only the Vichy moisturizer and serum generous samples provided by Chickadvisor, but after about 5 days I found my cheeks a little tight and had to throw on some Aqualia Thermal Night Spa (also a Vichy product) to combat the tight feeling.
Was the tightness brought on by irritation due to overactive ingredients or that the Skin Sleep just wasn't hydrating enough for my overly dehydrated skin? Not certain. However in my day to day I wouldn't normally wear the same moisturizer night after night.
Does my skin look better? It's definitely plumper and I only had one breakout from trying a new product, and that was after about 7 days of (mostly) continuous use. Overall my skin responded well, I didn't see enough hydration for my tastes, which lead to that tight feeling in my cheeks. The promotion suggested a mild scent that assisted with relaxation. There was a light smell that dissipated quickly, which was ideal for me as I'm not a fan of strong smell.s
I've been a casual Vichy user over the years, trying products, using them until completed and then moving on into a other manufacturer. And I will probably do this again. I'm not entirely convinced that this product has made a huge difference to my skin as my cheeks want more hydration. It's been lovely to get to try new products, and I have to say this particular sampler came in a lovely box, and was packaged neatly.
Wow, great product!
I have sensitive skin but had now issues with this. Made my skin feel silky smooth and I feel like its making a difference to my fine lines already.
Being in my mid 30's, a mom of 2 I don't get as much sleep as I would like to. I also have wrinkles starting near my eyes, my t zone and on my forehead. I really need some help with my skin. When I first tried Vichy Skin Sleep I thought the consistency was a little thick and almost like light glue. After about 5 mins it my skin was nice and soft and the gluey feeling had gone away. My wrinkles were almost non existent! You can really see that this product works even with the first application. A little goes a long way with this product. I have used it for a week and I have not even used 1/4 of the jar. The results are evident in the first week of use that this is a great product with a higher price tag but most definitely work the cost. I would assume the product would help older more mature people even more that have more wrinkles. I would recommend this for any new mothers or mothers of more than one child and any mature adults. Give this I try you will not be disappointed!
I like that this product is light which makes it an ideal night moisturizer during the summer nights nor does it feel sticky. A lot of moisturizers tend to make me look grease face after applying but this one doesn't. Having said that, I do not think this moisturizer can keep my skin moisturized as long as other night moisturizers because I can see my skin flaking a bit when I use this versus other products. Although it may also be because the area I am in is more dry; it is also likely a contributing factor.
I got to test this product for free from Chic Advisor. While I am not sure this lives up to the hype it does leave my skin less dry than usual and my sensitive skin doesn't react to it. My skin does feek prwtty soft after a week of using it. The only thing that would hinder my buying it would be the price.
Love, love, love this!!! The feel on my skin when I go to bed is amazing! I feel like some fine lines are smoother. The price is a bit steep but if it works... :)
I really liked the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep. It smelled very nice and made my skin noticeably healthier looking. The quality of the cream is very nice. Goes on very nice and is soft and smooth and feels good on my skin. I would recommend this product just a bit pricy but the amount you get would last quite a long time so might be worth the investment to keep your skin looking healthy and nice.
I got to try out Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep through the Product Review Club. I liked that this cream was nice and light when I put it on. The scent is light, not overpowering which is good. I used it in combination with the serum. With 2 young kids my sleep isn't always the greatest. This cream did help me to wake up with softer more refreshed looking skin. The price point is a bit high, however, it is a great product. I would recommend it to my friends and family.
Belle texture, bonne odeur. J'ai utilisée cette crème en combinaison avec Vichy Idealia Life Serum et ma peau est maintenant très douce et bien hydratée. L'aspect de ma peau a changée, elle parait revigorée.
Normally I'm a big fan of Vichy products but so far I'm not sold on the Idealia Skin Sleep. Makes my skin feel soft but i think the cream made my chin break out in pimples pretty badly. Not sure exactly if it was the cream or the change in weather that caused it because sometimes I will have a few pimples when the seasons change. I'll try using it again over the next few days and if it doesn't cause pimples I'll stick with it. Hopefully I don't get any because otherwise I like how hydrated it makes my face.
UPDATE: unfortunately this cream kept making my chin break out in pimples so I had to stop using it. Too bad because I generally really like Vichy products. Oh well, that's the reality of sensitive skin!
