I received this product for free thanks to Chick Advisor and Vichy. I have been using this for the past 3 weeks at night and unfortunately I had to stop using it since I felt that my skin seemed dryer than usual. It has a very pleasant and light scent. I also like that Vichy was generous with the portion of the bottle and It did not leave my face feeling greasy. This product has a mixture of a cream and gel consistency. It does apply easily and evenly but it is unfortunate that it did not hydrate my face.

I received this as a free sample a couple of weeks ago. The cream is nice and light, but I find the scent a bit overpowering, especially for a night cream, although it isn't an unpleasant smell. It takes a while to soak in, so I find I need to wait a few minutes after applying before I lay down on the pillow, or my face feels sticky. In the morning my face does feel very hydrated, and I haven't had any adverse affects from the cream.

I was one of the lucky ladies who received this product as part of the product review club. Immediately after the first use i noticed a difference! my skin was way softer and looked smoother and plumper. the results became more obvious with each use. you don't have to use that much of the product to cover your full face which helps because the product is a bit pricey so it's good to know that the bottle will last a long time. I've only used one night cream before and it was by the body shop and i didn't notice a difference after i finished it. the vichy product is way better! There are only two things I didn't like, one was the smell. Don't get me wrong I like it it smells nice. I just feel like the scent is a little too strong for my own personal taste. Secondly I don't like the jar. I personally prefer tubes or something as I'm a germaphobe. I know all the night creams I've used come in jars so it's not a knock at vichy. hopefully someone can come up with something better than a jar that is constantly open and getting fingers in it.

I have been using Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep for the past couple weeks after receiving it from ChickAdvisor (thanks by the way). The product is a lightweight mix of a gel and cream, not as light as a gel, but not as heavy as a cream. While quite expensive, the product is rather effective, offering a hydrated, moisturized look after only a few nights of use. Additionally, it is fast absorbing and non-greasy in nature. Given the small amount required each night, the jar should last for some time!

Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep was very lightweight, and was a hybrid between a gel and cream consistency. I found a small amount was enough for my face, neck, and decollete (about the size of a dime). Skin Sleep absorbed quickly, and let my skin feeling hydrated without feeling greasy or heavy. The product does have a light floral scent, which was noticable but not nearly as strong at the Vichy Idealia Serum.

I am currently 5 months pregnant, and had found that my skin was appearing dehydrated, sallow, and tired. My previously combination skin has transformed into sensitive, dry skin, and I have found that many of my favourite products were no longer effective, or were irritating.

I began noticing changes after several days of use, and after two weeks, my skin looks hydrated and radiant. I don't look nearly as fatigued, and have been complimented by coworkers on my "pregnancy glow".

After two weeks of use, I am just beginning to pass the neck line of the jar, so I expect that the remainder or the jar will last several months.

I was selected by Chick Advisor to review Vichy's Idealia Skin Sleep balm in exchange for a free trial and honestly, at first I was a little anxious about reviewing the product. I was a little worried that I wouldn't notice results quickly enough to give a valid review of the product, but to my surprise, even after only a couple of days, I could feel the difference! Every morning, I woke up with firm, refreshed and extremely soft skin! Normally when I wake up, I immediately look to moisturize to help brighten up my skin, but after using Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep, my skin was already feeling soft. Even more to my surprise, I accidentally fell asleep one night without using it and when I woke up, I could tell the difference. My skin looked more tired and darker, definitely less refreshed than when I'd used the balm. I can't wait to use this product in the winter, my skin is going to love it!

I was using this along with the Vichy Idealia Life Serum and would definitely recommend the combination - between the two, I started to forgo wearing any concealer, as my skin looked pretty well next to perfect without needing any concealer for under my eyes!

I received Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep as a free gift. I found the scent extremely pleasant and its texture light and creamy. I also found that the application did not make my skin feel greasy. I used this product for 2 weeks and did find that my skin was getting more dehydrated and flaky than usual. I had to stop after the second week for this reason. I have combination skin and use a hydrating cream at night but did not find this product hydrating enough for me not and I did notice a difference in smoothness.

I am not too sure about this one.. I usually really like Vichy product, and I had high expectations for this cream. However I did not find it hydrating enough for my skin. another thing that bothered me was the perfume: smells great but too overpowering for putting on right before going to sleep. Not a bad product but personally I will go back to my other Vichy lines with I prefer and are much more hydrating (Aquaria Thermal)

How did Skin Sleep perform based on its advertised benefits (e.g. increased hydration, smoother-looking skin, etc)?

I think this product is great! It's a smooth gel like cream that has a light scent which is not overpowering. It immediately made my skin feel softer and definitely made it more hydrated. It did not burn or irritate my skin right from the first use. I really like this and would recommend it to anyone who does not have overly sensitive skin. I have an eye eczema and it did irritate it a bit, but if you don't have that, then it could work for you really well!

How did Skin Sleep perform compared to similar skin care products you have used in the past?

It compares as better than other night creams I have used In the morning, I thought my skin felt really smooth. Much more smooth than after using other night creams.

Would you recommend Vichy Idealia to a family member and/or friend?

Yes, I definitely would recommend it t anyone with normal to dry skin.

I would purchase this product. It just out performed on skin smoothness after one day.

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep kept my skin hydrated all night. I would put it on at night right after the Vichy Idealia Life Serum and the morning I would wake up in the morning with hydrated glowing skin. The creamy is absorbed to my skin quickly and isn't greasy or heavy. It doesn't leave any residue on the pillowcase. I would recommend this product to everyone!
