I received this product for free as part of the review club. When I first received this product I was hesitant, as I have very dry skin and am very picky when it comes to skin products. However, the packaging was gorgeous and really got me excited about using the product. With a lovely smell, I found that it worked well for my dehydrated skin and didn't make me feel too oily or greasy. When I woke up my skin felt soft and silky smooth, something that rarely happens for me. I've definitely enjoyed using the Skin Sleep and will continue to do so as my skin seems to love it. If you're considering it, I would definitely say go for it and give it a try - especially if you have dry skin. My skin isn't very sensitive so do keep that in mind. Overall, a big thank you to ChickAdvisor for this great product!

I received this item in the mail free from ChickAdvisor (thanks ChickAdvisor!) and was excited to start using it! The jar is beautiful (I love the mirror on top – nice touch!) and it smells fantastic. Unfortunately however, it hasn't been the best for my skin. My usual night cream dries out my skin a bit more while I sleep, and comparatively, this cream feels very oily and makes me feel greasy when I wake up. I have even been breaking out in certain spots on my face more than normal. Perhaps this cream works well for people with drier skin than mine, but for someone with fairly oily skin it is just a little too much!

I have been using these products as my new skin care routine with a huge Thank You to Chick Advisor and Vichy Canada, I will admit I had a great hesitation to begin to try these products as I have sensitive skin and redness can occur on my face at any time throughout the day, I am happy to add to this review that I find that the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep alongside or alone the Idealia Life Serum is Sensitive Skin Approved! My skin does not only look fresh and revived in the morning it is glowing and healthy looking day by day. I now trust a new brand of skin products that I may not have ever experienced if not for this amazing opportunity.

The first thing I noticed about this product is its beautiful matte pink packaging. It looks and feels expensive. The product is a pale pink gel-cream with a fairly inoffensive floral scent. I believe that this product is meant to be used as a sleeping mask and the last step in a skincare routine. When I used it alone I found that it wasn't quite hydrating enough for my dehydrated skin. I started to use a serum or facial oil underneath and had a much better experience. I could feel the product as a layer on my skin and my face was very shiny after application. I think it is best to use right before bed because other people would definitely know that you had a mask on.
I think it does a very good job of smoothing the skin and making me look more rested however the hydration was lacking. I would recommend this for someone without issues with skin dryness. It didn't irritate my very sensitive skin at all which is great! I don't think that I would repurchase it in the future as I would prefer a richer, more moisturizing product for night.

I just recieved my #VichyIdealiaSkinSleep plus the #LifeSerum 3 days ago I am totaly excited about this i've seen it wanted to try it but was not sure given the price of it . if it was right for me but thanks to #ChickAdvisor #IGotItFree and am starting to use it now and so far i love the results. In just a few days my skin feels so soft and silky I have used both the #VichyIdealiaSkinSleep and the #LifeSerum as part of my daily cleansing and moisturizing routine we will see what 2 weeks use does all i can say is it can only get better

Unfortunately, I seemed to have a reaction to it. Especially on my forehead the skin turned red, itchy and covered in bumps.

I do have sensitive skin but it said it was good for all skin types, even sensitive.

I stopped using it. Will give it a few days to see if my skin clears up and may try it again.

I have very dry skin and have difficulty finding a product that hydrates as well as I need it to. The Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep is a wonderful product, but for my skin I would prefer it to be a little richer. This product would be ideal for normal skin, but I don't find it is quite moisturizing enough for mine. It has a beautiful scent and an amazing texture, and does leave my skin feeling refreshed, but it just isn't quite the perfect cream for my skin. I need a cream with a little more 'staying power'. I would recommend it to others, though, who do not have the issues that I do. I would love to see Vichy come out with a heavier formula (perhaps a 'riche' version for skin that needs a little extra hydration) in addition to the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep that they now have out in stores. Overall, a great product, though!

When I received my gift 2 weeks ago, I was impressed with the look/feel of the bottles. They appear high quality and very luminescent. However, the pump bottle is very finicky. You have to hold it very firmly and push the pumper straight down. If there's any angle on the push, it will not pump. Hard to do with damp hands after washing my face. I am sensitive to scents, however the scent of both these products is light and natural.

1.How did Skin Sleep / Life Serum perform based on its advertised benefits: Moisture is the advertised benefit and it does moisturize, however it provided too much moisture and caused my skin to be oily & I developed larger pores and a few pimples.

2.How did Skin Sleep / Life Serum perform compared to similar skin care products you have used in the past? I havent tried any similar products as they are usually quite pricey, however I use a basic moisturizer at night and they (Aveeno, St. Ives) moisturize without causing breakouts.

3.Would you recommend Vichy Idealia to a family member and/or friend? I might if they needed intense moisture and didn't have sensitive or oily/combination skin to begin with. However, there are much cheaper products that do better for me, and I would recommend those before I recommended these products.

4.Is this a product you'd consider purchasing again? No. Due to the fact that it caused my pores to become inflamed, caused cystic acne, and it is also very expensive. Products that cost 1/5 the price work better for me and my sensitive skin.

Really liked the smell of this product and my skin felt very soft. Felt like it left a film on my face after waking up, but happy with using the product for 2 weeks. Skin looks brighter! :)

Because of the recent change of weather, from cool Spring to finally getting warmer and proceed to Summer, my skin tends to be getting more dry (whenever there's transition of different season). My skin type is combination, so for my cheek, it tends to be more dry and for the T zone, quite often may be more oily.

I have been using it as soon as I received it in the mail (about two weeks time now), I have noticed that it did improve my skin condition: it provides hydration to my skin so there's no more dry skin around my nose, minimizes the appearances of my pores, and there's radiation on my skin (when I look in the mirror, I can see a natural glow). I love the texture of it since it's not too heavy or too oily (as some of the products that I tried before tends to be very heavy or oily if it is for night time use). It is very easy to absorb by my skin too. I found the scent is a bit too strong for me, but other than that it is perfect!

I would recommend Vichy Idealia to a family member and/or friend who are looking for a product to provide hydration to their skin. The price is reasonable given the quality of the product and the result on my skin, so I think I will purchase this product again!
