I recently had the opportunity to try vichy's idealia skin sleep along with the life serum courtesy of chick-advisor and vichy. I really enjoyed using this product. It was very soothing on the skin. I found that it made my skin feel supple and refreshed. I found that I did wake up looking more refreshed than usual and it made my skin look more "awake" therefore I didn't have to use as much product on my face. The price of the product was quite high but the quality is there. I would buy it again and recommend it to my friends. #IdealiaSkinSleep @VichyCanada

I received this together with the serum from the ChickAdvisor review club. So happy they are full-sized so I could truly test them out. I have been using them for 10 days now. Both scented amazing. But if you are sensitive to fragrant, these may not be for you. I apply theSkinSleep after I cleanse my face at night. I only apply a little eye cream and SkinSleep. It doesn't appear too thick in the jar but once applied, it feels a bit thick and it does take a good 10 mins to get absorbed into the skin. I do find it a bit sticky for my liking as I sleep on my side and I feel some product may have transferred to the pillow case. But the result is quite amazing. After a few uses, my skin start to appear very plump and hydrated in the morning when I wake up. Together with the serum, I can see myself getting into a new skin care routine. Will definitely purchase them once I use these up.

My only complaint about this product would be the price.Although it is lower than a lot of skin creams, I still found $52.00 a jar to be a little pricey. I started to use the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep the day I got it in the mail. I had tried a few other night creams but after a month or less stopped because they bothered my skin. This hasn't caused and skin issues has added firmness back to my skin. It is nice to put on and soaks in pretty quick and makes my skin feel soft. I don't think I'll go back to my other cream after trying this one. Normally I wouldn't pay this much for a product like this but after trying free from vichy and chickadvisor I think I will need to pick up more but it is comparable to other products of this quality. I suggest this to anyone who has trouble/sensitive skin I am so happy to find one that I can use regularly since even most creams are a no go for me.

love this! smells awesome and goes on a bit sticky at first but then just emls in to the skin. Saw result in just one use. I have three kids and sleep is hard to come by. My skin looks and feels like I've rested. I use it in the morning too underneath my moisturizer.

A little about my skin: I have dry skin that's prone to irritation and redness. My skin tone is uneven because I neglected to use sunscreen for years because I am prone to breakouts from most sunscreens. These products are perfect my skin type.

So for my review... First things first, this cream smells amazing. I want to say this almost smells like peach, but also floral. I know fragrances in skincare/cosmetics is not a good thing because that means there's unnecessary chemicals added that could irritate the skin or cause breakouts. But, I am a sucker for scents. I la-la-love the smell of this one. Sometimes, I can't resist but open the jar to get a whiff of it. I would wear this scent if it was a perfume, that's how I much I seriously love it.

The packaging is to die for. Pink and silver. Plus, the lid is a mirror! It's so convenient for applications. I found this "gel-balm" night cream to be extremely moisturizing, but it does take 15-20 mins to absorb into the skin. It's thicker than expected for a gel cream. Used with the Vichy Idealia Life Serum, this is hydrating enough for even the colder days. I think it does a great job of sealing in the moisture and protecting the skin from the climate changes. Even after a long day, my skin feels great. For my dry skin, this cream isn't greasy at all. It gives my skin a dewy, glowy look that I love. I imagine it might be too much for combo-oily skin types, but it works wonderfully with mine. It left my face feeling soft until the next morning after 10 hours of sleep.

Pros:
- absorbs into skin quickly
- extremely moisturizing
- cream is lightweight / doesn't feel heavy on the skin
- skin feels healthy in the morning
- very beautiful packaging


Cons:

Similarly to my review of the serum, this is a great product overall - but the strong fragrance sketches me out because I start wondering how much chemicals are put into the product to make it smell that good. For the same price, I think I would personally prefer an option with more natural ingredients.

Sadly I had a bad reaction to the product. I used it in combination with the SkinIdealia Serum. Was so excited about it, got it free from @chickadvisor and was stoked to be part of this campaign!
Applied it in the evening, and woke up to bright red patches on my face. Continued to use the product in the hopes of things getting better, but it did not happen, the redness never disappeared until after I reverted to my usual facial routine. So unfortunately this product is a no for me. I am disappointed, it smells really nice, it's so easy to apply, it has great texture, it absorbs nicely, and the packaging is just luxurious. Too bad my skin is oversensitive to what is in the product :(

just after the first application I could feel my skin smoother and hydrated: amazing!
My first application caused me some skin burning sensation although nothing visible, but I haven't experienced it after, so it's a go for me!
