I got to try this for free from ChickAdvisor. I consider my skin combination but leaning towards oily. This cream unfortunately increased my oiliness. I could not apply it anywhere near my eyes otherwise my eye makeup would smudge and I would get raccoon eyes. I tried using an eye base but that didn't work. If I applied too much of the cream to my face I also noticed my foundation would fade and would not last the day. I found my t-zone would grease up. I also tried using a primer but that didn't really help. If I blotted during the day I would have to use a couple of sheets of blotting paper. I did find the texture of this cream pleasant though. It didn't feel too heavy or greasy which is why I was surprised with my experience. Did I notice any change in my face...not really,,,I did get a few pimples though. This cream could work for some of the ladies, but it was a bust for me.
Sorry to say this product was not meant for me. There must be an ingredient in this day cream my skin does not like. May my face red and very shiny. I used this for several days but did have to stop. The funny thing is it did make my skin feel great.
I was selected as one of the lucky applicants to try the trio for free. Though I enjoyed both the serum and the night cream I can't honestly say that about the day cream. When I first opened the packaged it seemed like a big chunk of it had been scooped out - didn't seem full [whereas the night cream had the full, smooth top] which I know doesn't affect the product qualities but perhaps it put me off.
Now for the actual product. I felt that although it did go on smoothly, it took a bit longer to absorb than the night cream which makes it a bit of a problem when you are in a rush in in the morning. I found it too thick and heavy for a day cream. It almost seemed like the two products were reversed. Throughout the day my skin felt greasy and shiny. I don't think the combination of the serum and the day cream worked well at all on my combination skin at all.
Great moisturizer but unfortunately didn't stand up to the hype about how it works :( I didn't find this product helped lift anything! The cost as well is insane!
I was not able to use the day cream as it made my skin very itchy. I also disliked that it didn't have any SPF especially for using in the summer. I only tried it twice and both times I had to wash it off as it aggravated my skin.
I recieved this product free from the chickadvisory as part of their review club. It could have simply been the time of year but the product was much too heavy for my skin and so I did end up breaking out in areas. It might be more useful in the winter when extra moisture is needed and skin becomes drier.
I wouldn't use it again. I'm not sure I need a heavy antiaging regime in summer when humidity is high.
Vichy scientists claim they have identified the Derm Source as one of the most important layers of the skin, determining its youthfulness and vital connections. It has a powerful effect throughout the upper layers of the skin, and Vichy Liftactiv Derm Source is suppose to target this area to encourage the most effective anti-ageing effects. It’s suppose to have the ability to target specific areas and trick your own skin cells into pumping out high levels of collagen, levels that are normally found in younger skin. I took their four day challenge to see just how well they’re product would work, or not work for me. When I first opened one of the small packages that they had sent me, I found the face cream to have quiet a strong perfume scent to it and I hoped it wouldn’t remain on me skin all day. That scent did fade away, but it took a good hour before I couldn’t smell it any more. The cream feels pretty thick in your hand, but it blends in well as long as you don’t add too much at a time. They said to use one package each day, but I found the amount to be too much for one day, so I only use half each day. Although the type I received was for combo to normal skin types, I found it gave my combo skin an even oilier look and feel to it that I didn’t care for. By day three my skin started to break out, I believe it was do to this new face cream clogging my pores, but I could be wrong. It just felt too heavy and too oily for my skin type even though they said it was fine for me. As for any big results, I didn’t find my skin to be any more different then it had before I started to use Vichy LiftActiv Derm Source. The only thing it did for my face was to cause my skin brake out and make it look more oily. Vichy LiftActiv Drem Source sells for $27 for 50ml.
