My skin is always oily and I get acne often although not every day of the year. Hot summer days just makes my face get oily even faster. I have to wash my face several times throughout the day just to keep it clean and that discourages me from wearing make-up often. I have big pores on and around the nose area.

After washing my face with this gentle Vichy Normaderm gel cleanser, my face feel refreshed and smooth. I can't believe that this facial cleanser is actually soap free which makes it a lot gentler on my face and doesn't sting like other harsher acne cleansers. This cleanser helps kill the bacteria on my face but doesn't make it dry afterwards. When I use other acne products, my skin becomes dry and flaky and the harshness causes my skin to have even more redness. With this product I'm not afraid of that happening.

Will most likely purchase this product and use it again after I finish it up. The price range is moderate and is less expensive than some other brands. If you usually use drug-store brands like Ganier and L'oreal, this brand cost only slightly a bit more in general.

I received this product for free from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I have really oily skin. Before using the Normaderm routine set, I had a lot of acne and redness around my forehead and cheeks. After using the cleansing purifying gel, I noticed my skin looking more clear and it doesn't dry down my skin. It is light and it smell fresh. So far, I am loving this and would definitely recommend this to those who have acne prone skin.

Awesome gel to use! I could feel my face being cleaned free of dirt and open pores while using this product! I will definitely purchase it! It wasn't sticky, it came in a easy to open container and it was well worth using. I look and feel even better!

This cleansing gel was well,..just OK. It cleaned my skin well enough, but didn't really like the smell ( kind of a weird scent) It did make my skin feel soft, but overall I found that it hasn't cleared my blemish prone skin any better than some less expensive products I have been using.

I received this product as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. I used to use the Vichy Normaderm range about ten years ago when I was a young teenager. My skin hasn't changed much since then: I have combination skin, with an oily T-zone, and I suffer from blackheads, mostly on my forehead. I'm not too fussed about which cleanser I use. I most commonly just use cetaphil or cerave - simple, effective, and not too expensive. I don't think that the Vichy Normadern cleanser was anything special compared to the more simple cleansers I use most often. The whole Normaderm range as a unpleasant smell to it, at least to my sense of smell, so I already did not enjoy using the products for that reason. Also, because my skin is combination, I found that this cleanser was too stripping on the parts of my skin that are more dry. I did not find that this cleanser was any more effective at removing residual makeup (I always remove my makeup with a cleansing oil first), I did not help that it helped combat my blacks or oily t-zone. I would not repurchase this cleanser.

Loveee this product! I had a really bad breakout and after recieving this product from chick advisor I used the 3 step treatment for about a week and I was all cleared up!

I received this from chickadvisor/vichy a few weeks ago and have been using steady. I liked this one, it's foams up but isn't irritating to the skin, it cleans off dirt pretty well, I haven't broke out with it (sometimes I do depending on the product), I found my skin was a bit shiny/tight after but when I put cream on soon after (the cream in the product line) I found that it went away right away and gave a nice finish, so I enjoyed this one and even though the price is a bit more than the other cleanser I use, I would recommend it and might be buying it.

I received this product in the mail from chick advisor and was so happy when it came. I tried it immediately. It works great and doesn't dry out my skin like other products do. I noticed results right away. Gentle on my skin and a little goes a long way. Would recommend and purchase in the future.

I received this product through Chick Advisor Product Review Club. It is not the best product that I have used, however having said that, I do very much like the fact that it does not dry out my skin at all. I just wish it made my skin feel a little bit cleaner. Overall though, I do quite like it!

I received this product from Chick Advisor to test it out for free. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and have slowly noticed a difference in my skin. I was using a cleanser from Fresh before that was doing an amazing job, but decided to try this product out as many people have raved about how great Vichy products are. This cleanser leaves my skin soft and not dry - which is a huge plus. I did notice that I started breaking out more than normal when I first started using this - but the breakouts have definitely gone down. Is it the best cleanser I've ever used? No - but because it's only been a couple of weeks, I'll keep using it to see what the long term results are!
