I was so excited to be selected to review the Vichy ProEVEN Dark Spot Corrector as I have some uneven-ness in my cheeks and also some darker sun related spots near my hair line.

I was shocked to receive the Night time formula first, followed later by the Daily Dark Sport Corrector. I've been using the Night formula for a couple of weeks now and the Daily formula for a week. With just the Night formula I noticed a slight improvement in appearance and my skin actually seemed a little rougher...when I added the Day formula the results started. My skin continued to feel rough for a couple of days, which I now realize was the damaged/old skin sloughing off, but by about day 4 my skin felt great.

The spots near my hairline are diminished to about 1/2 the size they were and the product says it can take 4-8 weeks for results so I am excited to see what happens as I continue using it!

The cream is lightly scented but I like the smell, and it goes on well with my regular daily moisturizer.

The Day formula is a 30ml tube that is about $49.50 at Shoppers Drug Mart, this is more than I usually spend on a single product, the Night formula is a little larger tube at 40ml for only a $1-2 more. If I were to keep using this I would likely only use the Day formula as it seems to work better on my skin. This being said it only takes a small amount to get good coverage on my face so I expect this tube to last a while!

All in all if you have spots you would like reduced I would definitely recommend these products!

I love Chick Advisor, because they let me try out some pretty amazing products. I had never used anything from Vichy before, so I was excited to give the brand a try and start using Vichy ProEVEN Advanced Daily Dark Spot Corrector.

After a hard winter, my skin is pretty blah. I’ve been lucky because I haven’t had too many major breakouts, but due to lack of sun I don’t have much color in my face.

I started using the product over a week ago, and around that time I came down with something I have never had before – pink eye! I was afraid to use a new cream in the midst of this minor health emergency, but things got a little drastic so I gave it a try. My left cheek ended up getting very red and irritated – I am not sure what it had to do with my pink eye situation, but they seemed to be linked. My face was really itchy, so I started to use the Vichy cream to see what would happen.

Basically it soothed my skin and cleared up my red itchy patches so everything returned to normal. I was very happy to see that the cream not only soothed my itchy skin, but it went from red to that blah winter left over skin color I already had going on.

Once my skin was back to normal and the pink eye had cleared up, I continued to use the product twice daily to see what else it could offer.

I applied it every morning, and every night over my cleansed skin as instructed.



It claims to target all sources of hyperpigmentation to reduce the colour, intensity, and size of dark spots.

I don’t have many dark spots, but I do have one that recently came up under my nose (ok, I’m not good at waiting for blemishes to just disappear!) that I have been using concealer on for a while now. I wasn’t sure how to lighten it up, so I specifically targeted that area, and the rest of my face to see what results would come up.

The cream absorbs quickly, and it’s not greasy at all. It actually smells pretty good too. I would apply it all over my skin, and concentrated more on my dark spot. I could wear the cream under makeup and it didn’t make it slide around at all!

Since using the cream my skintone has been much more brighter and even. I was really surprised – it sort of livened my face up a bit! That dark spot isn’t gone yet, but it’s just a little bit lighter which made me really happy.

I’ve had no breakouts since using the product, and I’ve been really happy with the results. The tone of my skin seems just a little bit brighter. It’s officially been added to my beauty arsenal!

The cream is also Hydroquinone free, Paraben-free and hypoallergenic.

The average price of this product is $48.50, but it’s a rather large tube and would last a long time because little is needed. It’s worth the price to me.

I received this product for free in order to test it out and share my results. I have to admit that I was not really expecting to see any results, especially in the short amount of time that I've had the product. To my delight and surprise I DO see results! After using the products day and night for a week I definitely see clearer, smoother, and a more even skin tone. I still have some pigmentation issues but I assume it would take more time to really help with those issues but my skin is definitely looking clearer and brighter so I am very happy!

I love that this product does not contain any Hydroquinone and uses ingredients that do not irritate my sensitive skin. I was actually anticipating that this product would cause some irritation as my skin is sensitive and also dehydrated and acne-prone, but I was so happy that it didn't cause any stinging or irritation whatsoever. Although my skin is dehydrated, it is also combination/oily and I did find that I wanted to apply a moisturizer over this. I think if you have oily skin you may not even need a moisturizer as it did not leave my skin dry but I prefer my skin to be very moisturized to the point that it is left dewy.

I just wish that the product had a little more in terms of instructions of use. Since it's a treatment should it be applied to dry skin vs. damp? After application, should you wait some time before applying your moisturizer of choice? I like to know details like this when it comes to my skin care as I do layer a number of products and some are to be applied to dry skin and others work better applied to damp skin.

All in all, I am VERY pleasantly surprised by the results so far and I look forward to seeing the results after finishing the whole tube!

I received this as part of the product review club. I have a few dark spots on my face from old acne scars and after 2 days of using this product, I've noticed a fading of those spots. Super effective and does what it claims to do.

However, I feel this product is a bit expensive at $40+ for one ounce. In addition, it is not very hydrating, so you'd have to use another product in addition to this. But overall, it does exactly what it's supposed to do which is fade dark spots.

I got to try this product free from the review club thank you. SO far I have noticed that a few dark spots on my cheeks have faded a bit and my skin feels so soft after appling the product daily. Just putting on my makeup in the morning I have notice a difference when applying my make up it goes on much smoother now. My skin it looking more radient and my reddness has also gone away a bit. Great product to use and highly recommend this products to anyone that wants to reduce their dark spots. Since I have only tryied this out for a week I will come back and give more detail in my post after I have used it for a full 4 weeks

I have some minor acne dark marks on my face and a few dark spots on top of my cheeks and chin probably from the sun and have been hard pressed to find a product that I really want to try a product that was effective as well as gentle enough to not cause skin problems. I've been using the Vichy ProEVEN for about a week and a half and so far I really like it. It is very easy to apply and it feels good on my skin after I apply it. I use it only during day time by rubbing on a thin layer before I go to work. It does act as a moisturizer, but I like to add on to it with my own for more hydration. I am noticing that the sun spots and acne marks are getting a little lighter and there is a slight radiance on my skin.

I have to say I have been completely blown away by the results. My skin feels soft, supple and the redness has gone down. My skin tone looks much more even. I wake up looking refreshed not tired any longer (even when I am tired). I will definetly keep using this product well beyond the trial!

I was lucky enough to get the night and day cream for dark spots by Vichy. Love them! My dark patches of faded immensely. They both have a pleasant scent and my skin feels soft. I'm able to wear the day time under my make up and and i don't have a greasy feeling after applying either one of the creams. My only regret is that i didn't discover these products sooner.

I got both this and the night cream to try. I got the night cream first, so I've been using that for a few weeks before i got this cream. I don't know if it's the combination of two, but I noticed my pigmentation spots got lighter! It took about a week+ to notice so just wait for the results. More on my cheeks and my neck than elsewhere. My skin absorbs it so quickly, so I can use a bottle of this in no time! Retail price is a little expensive but don't put it on lightly. It works better if you put more on in the darker areas. I like the light scent of both and prefer the night cream. Will definitely be using this in my daily routine and may try other Vichy products.

My skin immediately felt smoother, suppler and moisturized as it claimed it would do, which I was very happy with. However, I didn't see any reduction in my dark spots, brighter skin tone or see a more uniform complexion.
As moisturizer it is a good product for my sensitive skin.
