As a person with weak lungs that are prone to infection, Vick's Vapo Rub is a life saver. It opens my airways and cools the fevered skin of my chest. The rub used in conjunction with Nyquil is the quickest and easiest way to get sick me to sleep, which is a challenge, as I don't sleep well when I'm sick.

I personally love the smell of Vicks. I use this when I have a cold or feel one coming on. I also use this product sometimes when I am having troubles sleeping. The smell is soothing and helps me fall asleep. I always have some in my house.

Love how this product smells awesome and makes us all feel better. For the kiddies, we put it on their feet and under socks. For the adults, we love to use it with the beginning of a cold. It helps improve breathing, air flow and overall wellness.

Last week I had the misfortune to catch my son's cold. Whatta thrill!!! I had to miss a girl's night out that I had been looking forward to for awhile. I stopped in at my mum's and right away she handed me a bottle of Vick's Vapo Rub and told me to rub my throat and chest. After my visit I wrapped my neck in a scarf and headed home. That evening I doctored my son and myself applying the Vapo Rub liberally to our throats,chests and under our nostrils. I had a wonderful sleep and was able to carry on almost as if I didn't have a cold. On the morning of day two, my congestion was pretty much gone and now I totally recommend the Vapo Rub to all my friends. Mum used ii on us 30years ago and it worked and now I am using it on my children. That is a good product in my books!

This is a staple in our medicine cabinet. Wives tale or not, I swear if you put this on your babies feet and then cover with socks, it makes their cold disappear so quickly. I used this when I was little and have continued to sue throughout the years. I recently read that vicks also helps with cystic acne so I gave it a go...um hello?! what the, the pimple was almost half the size in the morning and in a few days was gone entirely. I wouldn't suggest putting all over your face, but if you need quick relief try it out!

In my household this is the go-to for any kind of sickness. Throat's feeling itchy? Vicks. Have a cold? Vicks. Have a fever? Vicks. It is a staple to feeling better. The way I use it is around my neck with emphasis behind my ears and downwards. When applying it here, I try to apply slight pressure in a downward motion. If needed, I put a little over my chest too and if I have a stuffed nose, I apply VERY little around my nostrils cause it can burn. I do this all before sleeping and when i sleep I'll try to wear a hoodie or wrap a scarf around my head and neck to keep that area warm. I would do this max for 2 days because using it too much also isn't personally good for me.
