Effective and Easy to Use
This mouse trap hasn't really changed since I started using the 15 someodd years ago.
They are simple to set up - put a dab of peanut butter (or chosen yummy goodness if your house is nut free) into the bait hold, flip the bar back until it clicks, and gently set in place.
I find these SO Much more effective in comparison with the wooden traps, as mice tend not to be able to trick the traps (aka get away), and you can solve your rodent issue sooner.
I opt to throw them out, but if you have the stomach for it, you can always release the carcass, clean it, and reuse the trap.
For the price point and effectiveness, I'm okay with just purchasing new traps!
We do put them away from where the dogs can reach them, as they would definitely hurt themselves. So corners underneath furniture or in drop ceilings are your safest places to avoid a nasty flick.
