Formula: The consistency of this primer is like most primers with a whitish coloring and silky texture. The base is almost less serum like than most primers and a little more thin but it leaves a nice smooth silky finish on your skin. It was weightless in feel and only a little amount was needed to apply all over my face. I experienced no breakouts even in humid weather. It also contains SPF15 which protects your face from sunburn and skin damage.

Wear: I read some reviews were people are saying it's too greasy and oily which I don't find true at all. My skin is normal combination with my skin being more dry in the winter and oilier in the summer. I wore this on Sunday when the humidity here in New York was pretty high and was afraid it would be all sticky and gross but it was not. While it does not leave your skin matte it is not oily at all. The finish is semi-matte with a subtle dewiness. My foundation stayed fresh all day and did not budge as a matter of fact I used a crappy watery foundation underneath but still it stayed put. This primer is similar to the expensive Smashbox Primer's I have in my collection and since Smashbox is no longer cruelty free it's nice to know I can buy a like type at a lower cost. I think maybe the girls who are using this must have extremely oily skin or the foundation used is oily. I can't speak for someone else but for me I found this to be a good working primer. If you have extremely oily skin then maybe it might not work for you.

Bottom line: A decent affordable primer that works just as fabulous as the high end designer brands. It made my foundation last all day without getting oily or budging. While it's not the most amazing primer it does the job and is cruelty free. I would recommend this for everyone to try and if it's not for you the cost is not as bad as having purchased a $40 primer which would be a greater waste. This receives a 4.5 starfish rating from me. Anyone tried this primer yet? Opinions? Stay beautiful! XOXO
