It is tough finding a durable yet effective garden hose nozzle. This Garden Nozzle entails both of these attributes.

The hose itself has 8 watering patterns – my favourites being Shower for our gardens’ evening watering, and the Jet stream. The Jet stream is quite powerful and helps clean debris from between the deck boards, patio stones, and front porch corners.

When you first attach the nozzle to the hose, you notice a dial on the handle – I did not know this when I first used it, and thought that the nozzle was not working properly with such low water pressure. I randomly turned the handle, and the water pressure increased dramatically. This is a handy feature – especially if you are going from watering Hostas one minute, and another delicate bloom the next.

The handle itself is quite comfortable to hold with a good grip on it. I was able to water my flowers from the back to front yard without the normal cramping or pain I get from my old nozzle. Part of this is also due to the handle trigger being located at the front of the handle instead of at the back like my old nozzle.

And if you do not want to hold the nozzle while spraying for longer periods, there’s a metal clip on the bottle of the handle that allows for this.

I also find that the nozzle is fairly light, and I have dropped it a few times without any damage to it or the quality and power of its spray.

Overall I am quite happy with this necessary garden tool – it more than exceeded my expectations.
