Great backup for fridge or freezer

At first I was surprised that it was not for outside the fridge or freezer with a wire sensor, but then I realized it is a great backup. I placed it inside my 1 year old fridge and found that the temperature shown on it was different than the temperature showing on my fridge. I double checked and indeed my fridge was showing the wrong temp. I adjusted and now my fruit and veg are much better and it saved a lot of issues. Would like to see clearer directions on where to place on packaging but otherwise a good item to have that shows clearly when you open appliance.

An honnest review of the Paderna fridge/freezer thermometer -

I really like the max/min temperature tracking. You will be alerted to temporary warm ups caused by power outtages when you are away. This is key for food saftey. I don't like that it uses a button battery, I try to avoid them for child saftey reasons. Since this will live in the freezer, it is less of an issue.
