I recently received the Vida by PADERNO Digital Stainless Steel Ice Cream Maker and I'm very satisfied! It's easy to use and I like that there are 4 pre-settings for ice cream, gelato, sorbet, and frozen yogurt .The large bowl size is also convenient and I like that you can manually adjust the time for optimal texture with different desserts. The digital LCD display is straightforward, and the multiple churn settings allow me to experiment with consistency.
There is also a compact design with cord storage in the base, making it easy to store when not in use. Definitely recommend it!

Lot's of fun to be had!

It's a super simple process to use this machine but make sure you read the manual; you need to add the ingredients to the machine while it's on and spinning or else it won't work, we definitely learned this from experience. Also, make sure the bowl is frozen and not out for more than 5 minutes before turning it on or again it won't work. Only tried the ice cream function but it's super easy get the hang of. Certain recipes or functions require a different amount of prep time but the machine's use itself is easy and quick. Lot's of fun with this ice cream maker.

Never knew I needed an ice cream maker until now!!

I always thought an ice cream maker was not necessary but after using the Vida by Paderno Ice Cream Maker, it has a permanent home on my kitchen counter!

It is so much easier than I thought to make delicious ice cream! The best part is I know exactly what ingredients are in it!

The unit has options to make yogurt, gelato and sorbet as well but the ice cream comes out amazing! I’ve managed to make vanilla and strawberry ice creams and believe me when I say the strawberry tastes better than Haagen Dazs! There are so many recipes you can find online!

Highly recommend purchasing this unit if you have more than 1 person at home or if you simply love ice cream!

Easy to use

I received this product from butterly in exchange for my honest review. So far I've used it once and I can tell I'm going to love trying new recipes for ice cream, gelato, sorbet and frozen yogurt. I wish the inside were clearer for those of us who'd never owned one before or knew anything about home ice cream makers. I didn't know I had to freeze the tub at first and the instructions only mention it in the notes area at the end, but that's more of a user error. Once we figured that out, it was easy to use and it works so well! We can't wait to try more recipes and make healthier frozen desserts at home.

Great you've got time

If you have time to spare and like cooking things from scratch, then this home appliance is for you.
While this was a really cool tool to make homemade ice cream It only came with two recipes and the cooking process took most of my day. So , while I think this item is great as a Gift or a novelty item, I would not recommend it to your everyday family Because of the time it takes to create ice cream.

Great Machine!

The machine is super easy to use, it has 4 settings, gelato, ice cream, sorbet and frozen yogurt. Keeps it simple simple for the user. The difficulty comes in making sure you have all the ingredients and making sure that you freeze the bowl at least 24 hours before you use it. So it is not difficult but more you need to plan in advance when you are going to make something. It is not a spur of the moment treat type thing. That being said when we followed the instructions the sorbet came out great! Next to try is ice cream and frozen yogurt.

I only put Maybe to buy simply because as a working mom with 2 busy kids on the go, I don't always have the time to make sure I have all the ingredients, a store run may be needed and have them prepped (like in the case of the sorbet you have to set it out to thaw and mix a few hours before you make the sorbet). It is definitely more of a weekend treat with some planning.

Fun machine!

The ice cream maker was a gifted review - i was very excited when I received it to make my own recipes and have fun with the kids but there is only 2 recipes in the book, and both are for vanilla icecream. I wish the company included a recipe for each option (gelato, icecream and yogurt)

My kids had a blast decorating their own home made ice cream. The machine is quiet and the process to make the vanilla ice cream was simple and quick. I love that it only has a few pieces to clean. The ice bucket has been washed and placed back into the freezer for our next batch!
