I tested the new 3-pce BBQ set - Vida by Paterno. Love the rubberized grips on the tongs and spatula. They don't slip in your hands. The locking mechanism for the tongs is easy to use. The silicone brush is just the right length, so you don't need to worry about burning your hand when you are basting your food. Clean up was easy with a little dish soap and warm water.

I loved using the Vida by Paderno outdoor bbq set. The handles all have a rubber grip on them which makes it easy to hold and doesn’t get hot. They are all long enough to reach the back of the bbq grills. They are lightweight and easy to clean. They also have a rubber loop at the top to hang after in/on the bbq area. Overall loved the product and would recommend.

Great little set

I loved this little BBQ set! The handles were long so I didn’t get burned when basting or flipping anything! Plus they were soft and not too heavy! I do wish there was a grill cleaning brush with it. But it was a great little set at a great price point. Perfect housewarming gift for someone!

I love to BBQ!

I love to BBQ! And I love a saucy bbq menu.. chicken, ribs, etc. So I was excited to see Paderno BBQ tool set included a basting brush. The tools included in this set are top tier (they look good, feel expensive and work very well) but the basting brush is my absolute fav! Totally recommend this set if you love saucy BBQ too!

Sturdy Feel

Received this Vida by Paderno BBQ set in exchange for a honest review.
Used the set a few times and so far so good. The tongs are super sturdy and feels very durable! The teeth line up perfectly so I could use either side and it works well. The locking mechanism is a bit tight but it'll probably loosen as it gets used.
The spatula is very well made with a good taper at the end. Thr handle is long but not too long. A perfect length to reach the back parts of the grill.
I took a star off because of the brush. The brush overall does what it's meant to do. The downside is it's very difficult to clean because the bristle end is a circle so the centre is hard to clean. Since it's black silicone, it's hard to tell if there's BBQ sauce stuck to it so you have to double and triple check the bristles and bristle base. Another downside of the brush is that the handle is not stainless steel like the other 2 tools. It would look and feel nicer if the handles were all consistent.
Overall, the tools are good and I would recommend this set for anyone who is looking for a good durable BBQ tool set.
