Awesome for box dye

For the people that clearly know absolutely nothing about haircolour- tint doesn't lift tint. It will lighten your hair slightly to the colour that your hair pulls or will fade your predyed hair to an added undertone because of the developer, if you put this product on ANY brown hair -you will NOT go blonde. It just won't happen, in any universe.
So if you did this, it is not the products fault -it is yours for not doing any research before putting chemicals on your head.

So! I have been using various hair colours for about 17 years now :) you name it -i've done it. I generally stick to salon products at this stage in life but I saw this shade and figured it was $4 on sale so what the heck.

This is the best boxed dye I've ever used, my natural colour is about 8nv with a 9 at the top from the sun (medium/light ash blonde) and my previous dye had faded significantly down to the pale banana I had to strip it to to achieve my previous colour. Needless to say- it looked gross. As we are currently snowed in on and off I took the plunge and bought this. If you have ultra long fine hair like mine you will need two boxes, if you have a thick, full head of long hair then 3 boxes. Application was pretty easy and the smell was light. The colour is great and came out very even -newbs to lighter colours with more than a 10 volume developer should note that piling the hair on the head will almost always make it uneven as the heat from your scalp will make the developer process faster. You should always start a few inches from your scalp as well or where your old growth is for the same reasons.

Vidal Sassoon London Luxe works very well. I personally feel if anyone couldn't reach the color it is most likely because their hair was too dark. Just like any vibrant color to properly reach the brightest tone you must first bleach your hair. I used this without bleaching it and it was rather dark but still a very intense nice red was there. I've also used this after bleaching and it was extremely vibrant and I loved it. Got lots of compliments both times. My sister has went this color and it looked fantastic on her; as well as my bestfriend has used this box dye and also enjoyed it very well , we all purchased it on multiple occasions. It's great for the price.

I have tried two of their red shades and as someone who has been colouring her red off and on since she was 16 .. I know my stuff.
This hair dye is soo easy to apply .. its nice and thick and a little goes a long way. It doesnt smell bad like other home hair colours.
The two reds I have tried are Mayfair burgandy and just recently Merlot Vibrant Red ... and BOTH are great .. best at home red I have ever used .. the colours are bright and vibrant and rich and stay that way for weeks and weeks ... My hair is shiney and healthy and smells great .. 100% never going to a salon for red hair again .. Great prices !!!

I love this hair dye! The color is vibrant and shimmery, like when I get it done professionally. It completely covered my greys and kept them covered longer than most other boxed dyes I've used. Will definitely be purchasing this brand next time!

After separating from my ex I wanted a change, I wanted to go red and this is what was suggested. And to put it in short terms, I've always ran to this exact brand and colour. It's vibrant and long lasting.

I dye my hair red and vidal sassoon london luxe is the best color, vibrant and it stays for a couple of weeks.

Hair don't get too dry after the treatment whcihc is a miracle when you dye your hair often.

If i can't catch my hairdresser on time, this is my GO TO!

I have use Vidal Sassoon London Luxe in a few different colors and have love my results each and every time. The price isn't too bad, although the last time I used it I was lucky enough to get a box for free. My hair doesn't take color very well normally but with this dye my hair just soaks up the colour. I've been telling my friends about it and they can't wait to try it.

I couldn't have been more impressed. It was actually one of the best smelling hair colors I've used. It wasn't too thick, and the color is amazing. It makes the hair soft and shiny .everything is perfect but the color 1BB midnight muse blue is black, not blue at all
