A good dishwand, but minor tweaks needed.

My husband will only do dishes with a dishwand so that is what I buy. In the past we have been using Scotch Brite but the quality wasn't the best. The sponge attachment was always falling apart and the soap would constantly leak out wasting dish soap. However the Vileda Heavy Duty Dish Scrunge is more durable and it doesn't leak. It is rated in between a 4 & 5 for abrasiveness and it definitely makes cleaning pots and pans easier. The ridges on the sponge makes it easier to get into small areas and this sponge dries quickly and I have noticed any prominent smell coming from the sponge even after multiple uses. The only real issue I have is with the long, curving handle being intrusively long making it uncomfortable to grip during washing. Even though you're supposed to hold it at the top where they have built in ridges to help prevent slipping while gripping the handle I find myself holding the bottom part. Since the quality and durability is better with the Vileda wand as opposed to the Scotch Brite I will definitely look and see if they have a shorter, more comfortable wand that might be more comfortable for me to grip.
