Delicious bread for every day use

We really loved the Villaggio Classico thick sliced Italian bread. My youngest son loved it so much that since trying it we have purchased 4 more loaves. I loved the soft texture, and it worked equally well for sandwiches, french toast, toast and just as bread and butter. The price was comparable to other brands, and the quality was definitely better than the regular store brand sliced bread!

Nice bread, but prefer different type

I received a coupon to try this product for free in order to review it. Usually we purchase whole wheat breads, but I was excited to try the Villaggio Classico Thick Sliced Italian Style Bread.

I found the bread to be soft with a light dusting of flour on top.
Upon first use, I did find the slices to be much thicker than I am used to. I decided to use just one slice for my tuna salad sandwich.

The texture of the bread was nice -- slightly chewy, which I enjoyed.
Nothing overwhelming about the flavour, but enjoyable.

I also used the Villaggio Classico Thick Sliced Italian Style Bread for toast. It toasts nicely -- crispy on the outside, and softer on the inside.
I preferred the taste when toasting it.

It is a nice bread, and priced well, but for my preferences, I would like a thinner slice and a whole wheat bread, so I would not purchase this for regular use.

I think the Villaggio Classico Thick Sliced Italian Style Bread would be a great bread for french toast, and will use it this way next.

Thick, Soft, Delicious Bread

Villagio Classico Thick Sliced Italian Style Bread is so soft and fresh feeling. My whole family loved the taste and texture. The slices are quite a bit thicker than a regular slice of bread. The thick, soft bread is perfect to eat with butter at meals and makes delicious sandwiches. They also are perfect for toast because the inside stays soft and fluffy with a crispy outside. The only recipe we didn't find these slices worked well for was grilled cheese. They are a bit too thick to allow the cheese to melt easily. When buying this product, keep in mind that you will use up a loaf faster than a regular loaf because the thick slices means you get fewer per loaf.

Love this Italian bread, its great for making your own garlic bread.

It has thick slices and its very filling. We make grilled cheese with it also.
We don't use for sandwiches but you could most definitely.

Excellent Soft Fresh Bread

My two teenaged boys go through toast and bread like crazy. We had never tried this variety before as it is not sold at our usual grocery store. However, I recently shopped elsewhere and picked up a loaf of this bread. It was so soft and fresh tasting. My kids loved it. I will definitely buy this again. It is reasonably priced and has that fresh bakery bread taste. #gotitfree

Soft and wonderful

We normally buy texas toast but we tried this Villagio bread and were delighted. We used it for french toast and it was delicious. It is a nice thick slice that is soft, makes great sandwiches and toast as well. My kids loved it.

Super fresh and perfect for sandwiches or toast!

I was amazed at how fresh this loaf of bread was! One of my pet peeves is trying to find nice soft, squishy bread on the grocery store shelf and I had no problem finding Villaggio Classico to meet my high standards. Nice thick and substantial slices were perfect for dipping in our homemade soup, a hearty grilled cheese and a wonderfully fresh homemade salmon sandwich. I will not hesitate to purchase again, even tho the price is higher than I would normally pay for a loaf of bread. Great natural taste makes me think it's homemade!! Well worth it!! If we had any left I would toast for chili dipping :) #gotitfree #familyrated

Love the bread

So I got to try Villaggio thick slice white bread ....I love the bread slices and the texture it tastes good as just a sandwich with spreads like penut butter or any other hazelnut spreads and just as with eggs...doesn’t get clumpy or chewy in mouth infact actually tastes and feels like bread no weird feeling after...my kids loved it maybe a bit high in price comparison to other bread but I would definitely buy again and recommend my friends and family #gotfree love it

I always buy this bread!

This is the only bread besides bakery bread I will buy! The flavor is great it isn’t too expensive. It stays fresh for a decent amount of time, though in my house we go through a loaf every couple of days!

Great tasting sandwiches

When I open the bag to make sandwiches I love the smell. It is so fresh and soft. It always makes a great sandwich what ever you use tracker your sandwich. Love Villaggio Classico Thick sliced Italian style bread!
