Almost like the original thing

We love these pre-made Dal Makhani packages. We pick them up from London Drugs for a little under $2 each, which is a super good deal for the quality you get. This dish is a spicy lentil and it actually tastes like the real thing except you didn't have to spend time to make it or dirty up your kitchen. We add fresh onion, garlic, cilantro and more spices to make it taste fresher and it always comes out well. If we don't have time to prepare dinner we'll bust out a few of these with roti, rice or nann and its a pretty tasty meal. I highly recommend this if you need no fuss dinner dishes.
