Vivité Defining Lip Plumper states it increases the volume of the lips, for those plump pillow lips every celebrity seems to be touting. I received a small sample jar to try, and was eager to see whether there would be any (noticeable results). The directions say to use three times a day, but fail to mention whether one should use it with or without lipstick.

I used it for approximately a month, after which the little jar ran out. I did see some results, especially in my upper lip. There was some increase in volume; my lips definitely smoothed out. However, I did not see such a vast change in my lips’ contour or volume as to make me want to purchase a full-size product. I suspect that for the majority of users, it will be a miss more than a hit.
