Great service during this uncertain time

I was able to try this service through a product review club. The timing for this was really great for me as I am trying to avoid crowded places such as supermarkets during this period of time. I appreciated how contactless the delivery was and the limitations imposed on the handling of my groceries. I was a bit skeptical about not picking out the products myself from shelves that they may be damaged, etc. but was pleasantly surprised when everything that arrived was in great shape. I would definitely use this service again in the future.

Its actually VOILA!!

VOILA, this new service launched a few weeks ago by SOBEYS is online grocery shopping website / app. It directly delivers your ordered stuff to your doorstep from their warehouses powered by artificially intelligent robots who pick n pack grocery orders so maximum safety efforts are maintained.
It was an excellent experience to shop from them. The app or website both are equally easy to use. loved their great customer service. Also would like to mention their temp. regulated trucks as my milk and ice cream were in perfect shape.


It is such a perfect grocery solution for busy professionals or busier parents.

I stocked up my favourites and would re-order next week for sure.

Fabulous and Convenient Service!

I went online yesterday and was given delivery options for today and tomorrow. I found all the items I wanted plus some bonus items that are produced by FarmBoy which made me even more excited. A few items were unavailable which was disappointing but literally no different than when I shop at the regular grocery store so I adapted and chose other items. This morning 11 minutes into my delivery window I get a call from a young man saying he would be here in 15 minutes. He arrived asked if this was my first time ordering and I said yes and he said welcome! He than said he checked my order to ensure there was no substitutions or omissions and he checked the temperature to make sure my cold items were at the proper temperature. The groceries were packed very sensibly much like I would pack them when I pack my own at the grocery store. All and all I would say it was a great experience and very convenient during these trying times. Definitely would use again!

Mixed Feelings

I received a voucher for $25 an order of $100 or more. There were a lot of things I both liked and didn't like about Sobeys Voilà. First of all, they are expensive. I know my prices and everything is at least $0.50-$1.00 more than at No Frills or Food Basics. Yes, those are discount grocery stores, but when you're taking about pantry products, it doesn't matter where you buy, the product is the same. I liked that they had some different products that I'm not able to get at No Frills, like Nutritional Yeast. The customer service was excellent. The accidentally replaced my spaghetti with gluten free, and customer service got back to me very quickly to assure me that I wouldn't be charged for the item and to let the delivery person know. My delivery driver was wonderful! He called before he arrived to alert me to his impending arrival. He had me check the eggs to make sure they weren't broken. We chatted for a few minutes and he told me how Voilà is working to build their warehouse to have over 50,000 grocery items available. He was really nice. I just wish I had checked the strawberries before he left, because I noticed a rotten one at the bottom of the container after I took it out of the bag. I also wasn't impressed by the $7.99 delivery charge. That seems high to me. I feel like $5 is more reasonable. Overall, with the cost of delivery and the higher cost in general, I don't think I would order from Voilà again.

Awesome Experience!

Using the Voilà by Sobeys grocery delivery service was one of the EASIEST online shopping experiences I have has this year! I enjoyed that many of the specialty items I was looking for were available for delivery (such as my favourite olives and tea). Additionally, the ease of the website and the intuitive navigation, made it simple to shop- even for a beginner like me (who has never ordered groceries online before).

I loved that the available drop off timeslots were immediate and the communication from the driver was amazing too. He called in advance to say he was on his way and then greeted me distantly when he arrived for a contactless dropoff. He was warm and friendly and didn’t accept my tip- but suggested I donate to charity.

I was overall SO impressed with the Voilà service and will be telling all of my friends and family about it. I will absolutely be using this service again in the very near future!

Great Grocery Delivery Service!

I had a discount to use towards trying Sobeys new Viola grocery delivery service. The entire service I received could not have been better!
I ordered my products and was able to pick a one hour window for delivery the next day.
The driver called me when he was about 40 minutes away letting me know he was on his way.
He got here at the beginning of the delivery hour, called to let me know he was here and then spent a few minutes getting my order out to bring to the house.
I recieved everything I ordered. The driver was exceptional and took the time to explain how it all works, and answered some questions I had as I am interested in this service for my elderly mother as well. Kudos to Marvin for such great customer service.
He explained how temperature checks are done 3 times, including once when he gets here. Everything was fresh, cold items packed together and frozen items all still frozen. I would definitely use this service again!

Amazing service!

I had never done grocery delivery before so this was a first time experience for me. The Voila site was easy to use/navigate and immediately told you what was in/not in stock. I liked that you were able to choose your delivery window by the hour so you aren’t sitting at home waiting for hours for them to come. The delivery people called me ten minutes before they arrived which I appreciated. The delivery people were very Covid safe, Wearing masks/gloves and took precaution when leaving the groceries at our door. What was cool was that they had labelled bags for refrigerated vs pantry. They also have a policy where they let you check your groceries and will immediately refund if you are not satisfied. Ivy and Elias were very friendly and enthusiastic, great service! Overall I would do this again. Saves time and sets expectations on what groceries you can and cannot get so you can plan accordingly!

Voila sobeys delivery

Voila by Sobeys- with all of the fresh foods deliveries I would say this one definitely delivers super fresh foods. I have no complaints about what the food looked like when it was delivered. The site is easy to use, I like that that’s a sale section so you can view all the items that are on sale at Sobeys. I must say Sobeys is much pricier then other grocery stores I shop at usually.
I would recommend Voila to friends as this was a great experience. I love how they bring the groceries to your door and on time. I would order again! I was given a promo code for testing out this service.

Voila! Easy Groceries!

Yes, this is another online grocery shopping service, but it is definitely one that has stepped up its game! I got to test out this service by receiving a discount for the Product Review Club, and I’m so happy I was chosen. I am so impressed with Voila! By Sobeys. It is super simple to go through the site and add items to your shopping cart. For the most part, everything I wanted was in stock - just an item here or there was out. If you want to make sure you for sure get everything you need, I would say to place your order right away at the start of every new flyer week. It shows you what is on sale that week and it is easy to add multiples of items and search for what you want. Payment is simple and easy and I loved that you also have access to items from Farm Boy and Well.ca!

Picking a delivery date and time is also super easy. You have one hour time blocks to pick from, which is awesome. The best part, especially right now with COVID, is that everything You ordered gets packed into their bags and bins by robots. The only human interaction is when it goes from delivery person to your door. The groceries are packaged together nicely too and not overloaded - Fruits & veggies together, dairy, etc. Also, all the food selected was nice and fresh, especially my fruit - I am super picky about that!

The driver/delivery person was super friendly and they call you about 10 mins away from your home to let you know they’re on their way. They call again when outside your door. The first time I ordered, I missed both calls (they also leave voicemails!) and the driver also rang my doorbell, so don’t worry if you miss their call!

I loved my experience so much that I ordered a second time! This will definitely be my go to online grocery shopping site whenever I need it from now on!

Amazing experience

I was one of the lucky participants to receive a $25 off coupon in a $100 purchase at Voila from Chickadvisor.
The website was easy to browse and find the items I was looking for.
For delivery lots of slots were available, thankfully.
I wonder if there’s going to be a capability to use vendor coupons. It would be nice if Sobeys themselves also offer coupons.
On the day of delivery, I got a courtesy text from by the delivery person of arrival time as well as the other protocols, such as ensuring my grocery gets to me in good condition as well as everything is in tact.
The delivery was on time & the delivery person was courteous.
The only thing about the whole experience was, that I was wondering if $8 is something I would want to pay everytime I’ve groceries delivered, especially when I have a Sobey by my house.
I understand it saves the hassle of getting out in such times when we have a virus around, so with that thought - maybe using this service perhaps once a month to get all your major groceries done and have delivered, it justifies but not every week.

Overall I am really satisfied and happy with this experience and my groceries were good.
I recommend giving it a try for sure.
