I was happy to have the chance to experience this opportunity with voila. As an individual with a chronic disability sometimes getting to the store to buy essentials is not an easy task. This gave me a chance to grab some essentials without having to leave my home. While there weren't all the dietary options that I needed, it was still a decent amount of items I was able to grab.

Overall a pretty good experience

It was a very smooth process. I have used PC Express delivery in the past and I really liked that, because I got PC points from the order. This was a very similar experience. The delivery is done by professionals in a marked van unlike PC Express delivery which is done by third party contractors, which is a pleasant surprise. It gives me a bit more peace of mind knowing that it's not being delivered by just anyone. The order arrived still cold. Overall, just a good, solid service!

Voilà voilà

I tried Voilà and found it to be convenient and efficient. Their prices were the same as in-store, and the process for picking up my groceries was smooth, with my order being 100% accurate. The service was quick, taking only about three and a half minutes from texting my arrival to receiving my groceries. Despite a couple of items being out of stock, I was satisfied with the substitutions offered. Overall, my experience was positive, and I plan to use Voilà again to avoid busy supermarkets.

Fresh food delivered

I got a discount code to try Viola. It was easy to sign up for trial to save on the delivery cost. While I found it convenient to use, I didn’t like how many flyer items were not available (ground beef, clementine oranges) the delivery was on time within the hour I booked it and the driver called to make sure I was home.

I didn’t love the paper bags it came in as they were very short and didn’t hold many items. I would have preferred reusable bags as I had to pay the 0.15 bag fee as I live in Calgary.

I did like how all my fruits and vegetables were very fresh and picked well! No issues there! I ordered from another popular retailer and the quality was not as good and had to go back to store to exchange bad produce.

I may try this again when I don’t have time to shop myself.

Great service, good selection of products

Order arrived on time, delivery person followed instructions well. I’m very glad these stores (Safeway and Sobeys) provide this delivery service as they have the best selection of vegan and gluten free products, and I don’t always have the time to go to these stores for these specialty items. Great service, in store prices, great introductory offer. The produce, however, the fruits and veggies weren’t the freshest. I am very picky when I check the produce for freshness before purchasing, but it seems to be an issue in many stores these days, so I believe I received the best of what was available. Will order again!

Very professional delivery

I was pleasantly surprised by using voila. The delivery was on time and I was called to confirm my availability half an hour before delivery. Additionally frozen items temperature was ensured. The only downside is that produce was more expensive than the rates I'm used to which deterred me from buying more. Overall very convenient.

Easy delivery

Getting groceries delivered with Voila was fairly easy in the app , there was lots of options to choose from for what I needed .
Even if it was out of stock there were good backups to choose from !
Delivery was great , with the time frame window chosen , it was on time ! Everything was packed nicely and neatly. I will use Voila again !

It's Safeway's Grocery Delivery Service

Placed the order online through the Voila site which honestly isn't much easier than going to the store and picking the products off the shelves yourself. One of the products was on sale but out of stock and getting a raincheque didn't seem to be an option. Also entirely my fault but I didn't read the text description associated with a product and just relied on the small picture ending up with a product in a flavour that I didn't want. The delivery fee honestly I felt was rather high given the free delivery offered by the likes of Amazon and the relatively lower fees offered by other delivery services (Skip, Uber). Delivery showed up as scheduled but required me to receive it in person - my hope was that they would just drop it off as other delivery services do. Overall the experience was largely as expected but not convenient or cost effective enough for me to use on a regular basis. Good to know about it and how it works should I get into a jam in the future and find that I need to use it.
