So overpriced
I don't usually shop at sobeys except for sales, I found that everything was so overpriced that even with the credit given I was paying much more than if I go to a different store.
Good opportunity
I got the good opportunity as a part of product review club member to order online grocery from Sobeys. It wAs so convenient. Thank you so much...........,,......
Great service mediocre quality for the price
I ordered through voila because I had a discount code through chick advisor.
I feel like the overall experience was great, but not worth the money spent. Products were smaller than anticipated, quality wasn’t up to my standard and the prices of many of the items were over what I would usually pay.
The customer service was great. But I would not recommend to family and friends as it is not something I would continue due to the high prices of all the products
Not worth it
I received the opportunity to try this grocery delivery service with a discounted voucher. I chose not to use it. The groceries were much higher than what I normally spend on the same items. Compared to other grocery delivery competitors the items are priced significantly higher and in my opinion not worth it. Maybe if they offer price matching to compete then i may reconsider.
Never got to try it
So I never got to try this service I spent about an hour adding things and adjusting my cart things were over priced significantly. When I finally went to check out my coupon code would not work so I was very disappointed and wasted my time. It probably would have been different if I got my order becuase I know things would have been good quality and fresh becuase its Sobeys but unfortunately this is my review and I did reach out with an email to chickadvisor with ni reply, thank you however for considering me for this campaign
Not the best value for me
I find that sobeys prices are a little higher than most other stores I shop at. Even sale items are not the best. If you also use coupons, shopping online is not the best way to get your groceries. You won't be saving any money in the long run, since you also have to pay for shipping. I did not order from them, so I have no review on the ordering process, the time frame it took to receive my order or the quality of products once received. If you're strapped for time, and not on a budget, then I would recommend getting your groceries online. But for me, its just not worth it.
It's Voila!
I would like to thank ChickAdvisor for giving me the opportunity to try Sobeys Voila. Here are my thoughts: please note that I ordered produce and meat as well to see how fresh we can get.
Pros:
1) groceries delivered on time. (If sobeys Voila is a person, This is my kind of date lol)
2) well packed.(Glad that there are no damages.)
3) on sale items are great!
And then there are cons: (the truth)
1) the items are close to expiry date. (Not sure if there is a box for preferences but if there is I missed it)
2) my grapes looks perfect on the sides but when I opened it... i'm like NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO... yes, not sure who packed it (was it a robot?) Oh yeah not all robots care.
3) meat is ok. Cooked it right away.
4) not offering a same day delivery. (Yet :) )
Overall experience, it was good. Would I recommend it? I would but when it comes to produce, we humans are more reliable. So If you just want to fill your pantry or need something that will consume or use right away, give this a try. :)
Not my first choice for grocery delivery
The selection is not what I expected and there are other grocery delivery apps that I prefer. Also it’s not same day delivery which is inconvenient when you’re planning for dinner
Too Good to Be True
I received a discount as part of a Product Review Club offer. This delivery service certainly delivers high-quality products, especially the produce. They also have plenty of sales on their website that is competitive with other grocery delivery services. However, I had booked my delivery time for a 1-hour slot, and not only did they message me hours earlier that they were in the neighborhood, but they parked their truck in front of my home for a good hour and a half before my slot, and I was forced to call them from complaints from my landlord, and get my stuff delivered when I was in the middle of other things, way before my time slot. Another downfall is that their dairy and bread products have poor expiry dates. Apparently, they only guarantee a 7-day freshness date so don't expect your eggs, milk, or yogurt (especially) to last very long! I would not recommend this service to others.
Needs work
I found voila extremely disappointing to use as their was lack of options in products, price points were high and I struggled to fulfill the required amount. I definitely felt I didn’t save money or feel like it was convenient and it left a sour taste. Product was fresh and on time for delivery.
