Easy to use
Viola was easy to navigate and order from, with plenty of time slots to pick from. My order arrived in the schedule window and was accurate. It was convenient.
However the prices for items are quite a bit more than other supermarkets in my area and there was a fee for delivery. I don't see myself using the service often because of the costs but it's nice to have it, if I need it.
Very thorough grocery delivery
I received a free trial of the Voilà grocery delivery service. While I was not very impressed with the website when trying to place an order, the app is actually super useful and made it very easy to place an order. The website was frustrating because if you looked at something and then clicked back, it took you back to the very beginning screen, rather than to the one right before what you had been looking at. The products I received were great, and the delivery driver walked me through all of the different steps of the process. I like that this delivery service allows you to look at any products that could’ve been damaged during delivery and will replace anything that you are not happy with.
Freshly Delivered
I saved a ton of time and effort this weekend. It was like having my superhero! #insertssuperherothemesong
Honestly, I chose the early delivery slot, but I ended up sleeping through it due to the awesome weather change. I felt terrible because the delivery personnel was so understanding and did everything she could to get me to pick up. When I called customer service, they were incredibly helpful and arranged a new delivery time. I was excited to receive fresh and properly packed groceries.
Overall, I received good service and was able to streamline the time I spend grocery shopping thanks to @Voila. If you're looking for a convenient and easy way to shop, then I recommend giving @Voila a try. Let's prioritize convenience!
So convenient!
I received a coupon from Butterly to try this service in exchange for my honest review. It couldn't have come at a better time, because I found myself sick and stuck at home shortly after receiving my coupon. This service is super easy and convenient to use! It saved me tons of time, meant I didn't have to go out when I was sick and saved me money from buying things I didn't really need! The delivery agent was friendly and all my produce was picked perfectly. I will definitely be using voila again!
Comparable to Others
Today, I tried out the @voila.ca delivery to order my groceries. I was given a discount thanks to @thisisbutterly .
There are pros and cons to this delivery company. It is pretty comparable to other grocery delivery companies when it comes to their delivery fees. Like other store owned delivery companies, I was unable to choose a same day delivery slot.
I liked that they had different delivery prices depending on the time of day you had it arrive. They also offered a free item when placing a delivery.
I was a little disappointed that they were sold out of some of them items I needed, like bell peppers and baby formula. I received an email to let me know that one of the items I ordered was removed due to availability, but I wasn't an option to choose a replacement. I will end up having to go to the store myself anyway to buy my missing items.
The delivery itself went smoothly. It arrived within the time slot I requested, and the delivery driver was friendly and helpful.
Would I use this service again? Unless I needed something specifically from Sobeys of Safeway, I will stick with my current grocery delivery company.
Voila service delivers but....
Hi, i was selcted by ZButterly to try out Voila and get $25 over a $75+ order including free shipping. The ordering process was good , I know it would be easier on subsequent orders as it saves your favourites etc. The coupon code Butterly gave me didn't give me free shipping at all, it was $4.99 plus tax. The products were selected well, bagged well, i like the paper bags they used, the delivery was in the time window I selected, i received the courtesy call that they were on their way, the delivery was polite friendly and professional. I would use Voila again but only if if circumstances like illness or whatever meant I couldn't go out and shop. For me having to pay the deliver fee when I was told it would be free was a unpleasant surprise. Also I mostly bought only items that were on sale as that matches the flyer prices, otherwise i felt the Voila prices were inflated. Due to this I know won't make Voila one of my regular grocery shopping choices which is too bad. (I am not close to one of the Voila pickup stores). But I am super glad that Butterly chose me to try Voila though!

Voila experience
Comparing to T&T and Superstore online shopping services, Voila provides better packaging and fresher food items. Unfortunately, some of the on sale items on flyer could not be found on the site when I was placing my order. Also, I wasn’t able to add my scene card number to my voila account. Other than that, it’s a good experience and I would use it again.
convenient and service was top notch
Being that service to Alberta is newer, I got the sense that they are still working out kinks.
Relative to the in store experience, I didn't have access to same range of products shopping online. And there seemed to be issues with inventory, as I found some staple items to be unavailable dependant on which days I preferred for delivery on certain days.
I'm not sure if this was a result of a smaller warehouse and inventory on hand to reduce waste, and potentially strict guidelines to ensure freshness.
But onto the upside. Voila really excels when it comes to customer service and freshness.
10 minutes prior to delivery, I received a phone call to confirm I was home.
The delivery person was super friendly, and waited for me to look over all the groceries to ensure nothing was missing and the produce quality was to my standards.
The produce came either shrink wrapped or bagged in a kempt and presentable way, possibly to ensure freshness.
Overall, the delivery fee for one off delivery can be quite spendy. If you were to utilize this kind of service more than twice a month, purchasing a delivery pass would make the most sense. Overall, this service is about convenience and not necessarily about saving money, so overall Voila delivered on exceptional customer service abs delivering fresh produce.
Simple and fast service
Using Voila was simple! We just signed up, put in our order, chose a delivery date and time and Voila! our groceries were here! Everything was packaged nicely. The cold and frozen things were definitely still cold and frozen! We got a call from our delivery driver saying she was 20 minutes away and she was there at that time. And she was very polite and friendly. The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars is the delivery fee is a little high but otherwise a great service!
