I would use this again

The products were good and easy to search on the one or computer! I do find there wasn’t a ton of fresh produce online and some the the prices were a bit expensive but overall it was efficient and easy to place my order

It has a delivery free versus walmart

It’s a good service
But when I found out about the delivery I was abit taken back because Walmart after $50 has no delivery fee
The food was fresh and packed well

I am making this review as part of a promotion I received for Voila

I ordered my first Voila order on one evening and received my delivery first thing the next morning! So convenient! all of the produce and eggs came undamaged and everything was the same. The produce was Not quite ripe yet ( bananas and avocados) which I would prefer and plan ahead for now that I know. Everything was exactly as ordered. The delivery man paid social care to note that bags with green handles contain refrigerated items and also told me to check all the bags right away to ensure nothing was missing or damaged so that they could replace it same day if it was. For a cost of $7.99 for my area, it saved me much time so I would definitely try Voila again

Never got to try it

So I never got to try this service I spent about an hour adding things and adjusting my cart things were over priced significantly. When I finally went to check out my coupon code would not work so I was very disappointed and wasted my time. It probably would have been different if I got my order becuase I know things would have been good quality and fresh becuase its Sobeys but unfortunately this is my review and I did reach out with an email to chickadvisor with ni reply, thank you however for considering me for this campaign

Wonderful stress free service!

I would definitely try this service again. I was fortunate enough to been given the opportunity to apply for a receive of a promotional discount from Chick Advisor. All of my products were the correct temperate, even though it was a very hot day none of my frozen items were slightly defrosted. Well, done! My delivery person, Mark was very personable and helpful. At first I was taken back with everything being in plastic bags but them I noticed that they can be recycled when you place your next order. Great concept. I should have known, as Sobey's was one of the first and only to recycle damage reusable shopping bags. Another positive I found was that I was able to order Farm Boy products- which I also love. The promo package of frozen hamburgers was an amazing bonus and so good! I used to love grocery shopping but lately it has been stressful.
This service made me feel safe and took the stress away. Thank you for the opportunity and I will definitely be using this service again.

Great service from Voila By Sobeys

I order groceries online regularly so was excited to receive a discount code as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club to try the new grocery delivery service from Voila By Sobeys.

The Voila By Sobeys website is easy to use and navigate. Since this is still a relatively new service the selection is a bit more limited than other services but I expect this to change as they continue to add products to their site. Not all products have ingredient lists yet but I expect this will be updated in the near future as well. One perk of shopping with this grocery service is that they not only carry Sobeys products but they also carry some items from the Farm Boy label as well as some items from Well.ca which gave me a chance to get some items that I ordinarily wouldn't have access to since there isn't a Farm Boy near me.

I love that groceries are filled at a warehouse which means fewer hands have handled items. It also means that they have a better handle on inventory so that you know up front if an item is out of stock. Unlike other grocery services I have used, all the items I ordered came in my delivery, no unfilled requests or substitutions.

Delivery windows are 1 hour long which is nice since some competing services have 2 to 4 hour long delivery windows. Deliveries are made in a Sobey's truck with refrigeration. The delivery person checks the temperature of your cold items to ensure that the temperature has been maintained and the plastic bags with cold or frozen items has a green handle to help you identify them . My delivery person called to let me know in advance when they were 5 minutes away and when they arrived they were very professional and walked me through the process.

All the produce I ordered was fresh and in excellent condition. I was happily surprised that most of my meat was vacuum sealed meaning that they had longer expiry dates than what I would normally get in a sealed clam shell container. My only criticism was that the bags of milk I received had an expiry date a week and a half away when I would have expected it to be double that.

Overall I had a great experience shopping with Voila By Sobeys and I will definitely order from them again.

Service with a smile!

I was crazy excited to be selected for the Voila by Sobeys campaign! And even more thrilled with the timing! I scheduled my delivery to land on my doorstep on the first day of virtual back to school. It meant I didn't have to waste any of my long weekend stuck in a grocery store...winning! The product selection online was fantastic and I was even able to order some FarmBoy brand products (which is a total bonus because the nearest FarmBoy to me is like 25 minutes away). Checkout was simple and I was able to log back into my order the night before to make a couple of last minute changes. 5 minutes before my one hour delivery window, I received a phone call from my very friendly delivery driver, Chris, letting me know that he was about 10 minutes away. He thanked me for trying out the service and asked if there was anything he should know to make my delivery smoother. I asked him to just knock on the door and leave the goods on the doorstep. He arrived almost exactly when he said he would and took the time to thank my 2 young sons for helping to bring groceries in the house and explain the safety measures they take to ensure that the order is safe, correct and complete. Overall, this was a far better experience than I anticipated and my neighbours better get used to seeing that truck in front of my house regularly!

Groceries done easy

When I first heard of Voila by Sobeys I wasn’t sure if it was going to be something I would consider using. But after trying to manage working full time, keeping my kids busy and getting groceries, I realized it would be worth a shot. It was so easy to follow to order online and I liked that I had the option to modify my order up until a specific time. I loved that I could shop a variety of stores under the Sobeys chain and had a good range of products. The delivery fee can be pricey but it is something I would consider using again.

Good and easy to use, but a bit pricy compared

Just received my first order after using the discount offered through this program, and I would say I am impressed.

I loved how simple the app was to use. The menu tab was broken down into so many sections that it made looking for specific types of things a lot easier.
At first it seemed overwhelming but as it went on I saw how effective it was.

I loved the fact that the stuff comes delivered through their own company, on their specific truck, and it comes cold and fresh. I don't need to worry about what I should and shouldn't order based on what might spoil before I recieve it (ex: ice cream).

I enjoyed the discount I recieved, along with the sale savings, however I do find Sobeys to be more expensive than other places I could get my groceries from.

I also want to say that the driver was very kind and courteous and made sure to call me about 10 mins before it arrive, and was very polite about everything.

I might use it again :) and I would recommend it if it was within a person's budget.

Great service

Love how fast the service is. A lot more specials and options compared to other online grocery delivery systems. Would definitely recommend this service to friends and family.
