I received a discount as part of a Product Review Club to use at #VoilaSobeys.
I would use this product again and again.
I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with my delivery. The site was easy to use and navigate.
I actually saved quite a bit on my groceries using #VoilaSobey. The discount came in very handy.
This will save me a lot of time and hassle of going to the grocery store.
I had a great experience from the service provided: The delivery person was very polite, pleasant and respectful. He called ahead of time and explained the perks and policy. He also arrive promptly within the drop- off schedule
I received all the products I ordered, fresh and in great shape at my door. It’s very convenient for me, I’m happy they deliver on Sundays..
I would recommend this service to all my friends and family members, especially my mom. Thank you #ChickAdvisor for the opportunity.
Good service
I like to buy things on sale, and although there were some items on sale for purchase through the online platform, it wasn't as much as I would hope for to switch from in-store shopping to online shopping for groceries.
Quality & Convenience!
I was selected to receive $25 off a $100 purchase from Voila.ca delivery service through Chick Advisor. Many of the items I needed were on sale so that worked out perfectly. Lots of time slots to choose from for delivery...even next day! There is no confusion with random substitutions either which I found with other delivery services. You’re notified right away if an item is not available. I chose next day delivery between 10am and 11am. I received a text letting me know that the delivery was actually running ahead of time and if it would be ok to arrive early. Upon arrival, the driver checked temperatures of fridge/freezer items and also made sure all fragile items were ok. All bags were placed on my porch and then the doorbell was rung. All I had to do was grab my groceries and bring them inside. Everything arrived in perfect condition. I highly recommend this service!
Good quality, friendly service, but very pricey
I received a $25 off coupon for $100 order from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my jonest review of Sobey's new Voilà grocery delivery service.
The time windows were very quick. If I wanted to I was able to choose something for next day delivery. They seemed to have a lot of availability, which was great. I did not have any issue choosing something for a Sunday which is what worked best for me since weekdays are tight with my job.
Their website was a little difficult to navigate. Even when I typed in certain items they would not come up. I had to go through the menus to find them the long way. So I'm not sure if there is something going on with their search functionality that they still have yet to work out. Mostly, though, things were easy to find. There seemed to be quite a bit of variety on the website but nowhere near what is available in store. There were some items I wanted to include in my order that they simply did not have. Thankfully all staples and most versions of those staples were available. I also liked that they have a Sales section you can shop from if you are looking for deals, sort of like you would find in the flyers.
There are two big downfalls for this service that I actually feel are deal-breakers for me personally because I live alone and this service just does not cater to someone like me for these reasons. One, you cannot choose individual produce. With similar delivery services I have always been able to choose 1 banana or 1 tomato like you can if you were in the store. With Voilà, unfortubately, they make you buy produce in bunches of their choosing which is highly inconvenient. They gave me a huge bunch of bananas which made me spend more money than I wanted and also a lot went bad before I could finish them all. I think you should be able to buy as many or as few products as you wish. It doesn't make a lot of sense to force someone to buy an excessive amount of produce that will go to waste, making them spend more money and wasting produce that will not get eaten before it goes bad. There are other services that allow me to buy individual items so I think they need to fix this.
The second thing is that their products are extremely expensive. I think this is more about paying for convenience because I do not mind so much paying the $7.99 delivery fee or a tip for the driver. But the actual food in their stores is so overpriced that I could not afford to buy from this service on a regular basis, especially as a single person, by any means. As an example, a pack of 5 corn was $6.49 and that is just not in my price range. Their Compliments brand items were more reasonable though.
I was informed by the driver they will start charging for bags as well but that you could bring them back to the store to be reimbursed once COVID is over. I feel this might defeat the purpose of grocery delivery for a lot of people because I personally use it because I do not have a car. I would not take bags back for reimbursement since I am too far from most stores and would not get on the bus to get a few cents back for bags. It might be worth it for those who drive.
The driver texted to inform me she was about 20 minutes away, which was great. I appreciated the heads up. She also asked me, since I am in an apartment, if I would like her to come up with the groceries or if I wanted to come down to get them. She was extremely friendly and professional and was wearing a mask. The service was top notch! She explained about the bags, as stated above. She also explained that the double markings on the bag handles were indicative of cold produce that needed to be put in the fridge or freezer right away which I thought was a great touch! All the food was kept at good temperatures: the produce and dairy was all cold and everything frozen was frozen.
Overall, there are things that need to be improved about this service such as the website functionality and perhaps the variety of items compared to that of in-store. For sure I think people should be able to choose the number of produce items they want instead of being forced to buy a "bunch" of Sobey's choosing - that would be my number one issue. But the service people are very friendly. I did need to get a refund for one item and the process was very quick for that as well. I think affordability is the main issue here for most people; it is just out of the price range for a lot of people.
Online groceries you can count on
I received a discount for my honest opinion about Sobeys Voila online grocery ordering.
I found the website super easy to navigate and a couple of items were out of stock, but it let me know right away so I could adjust my order AS I was ordering it. Very convenient.
Time slots were within 24hrs, which made my "last minute" order much easier to place since I was leaving town two days later.
The team member that came for the delivery was early and gave me the opportunity to have it early or wait until my chosen 1 hour time slot. Jalen was super courteous and friendly. I couldn't have asked for a nicer person to deliver my groceries!
Heck ya I would recommend this service to other people and already have!
Impressed with the delivery times
The experience on the site is super easy and I like the navigation of it all. You can search up items easily and even breaks the categories down very well. I was really impressed with the delivery windows and I think this is what sets it a part from other grocery delivery services. I ordered later last night and I was able to get my groceries delivered this morning at 8:30am! I am super impressed with that. The driver was very friendly too. I like how there were Farm Boy items as well. The produce seems very fresh and my freezer-kept item was perfectly frozen. I do think they need more availability of items online though as some things I wanted to order like spinach and zucchini were out of stock. Pricing of items are higher too but I do really like how convenient this was to have my groceries delivered to me!
Awesome choice for busy people
I never tried a grocery delivery service before thinking that the quality of fresh produce chosen wouldn't be better than what I could pick but I was pleasantly surprised to see otherwise. All my fruits and veggies were fresh with no blemishes. The sign up and ordering process were very easy. I chose my delivery time but after a few hours had to change my slot due to work and was easily able to do so within the time window. The delivery was seamless as well. The delivery man actually called me 10 mins before his arrival which I thought was great and gave me time to sort things out. When I greeted the delivery man he even offered to bring my groceries to my kitchen which I found really thoughtful. I liked the convenience of buying my groceries at work and then coming home to start dinner right away. I really liked this service and will probably use it again.
Surprising fast grocery home delivery service by Voila!
As part of the Product Review Club, I was selected by Voila by Sobeys to try their recently-launched grocery delivery service.
The Voila by Sobeys website is easy to navigate and register on. The grocery products were easy to search and the images of the products were clear and helpful. There is a clearly marked ‘on sale’ section. Some items were not available - out-of stock, I assume - but this was clearly communicated on the site.
Most items were comparable in pricing to other grocery delivery services. The delivery fee is $7.99 and there are no other, hidden fees.
I placed my grocery order on a Friday and received my order exactly when I wanted - in the time frame that I chose. I received a telephone call from the delivery service stating an arrival in fifteen minutes from the telephone call. All items were received as ordered and were carefully bagged and delivered in a safe, convenient and friendly manner by the delivery person.
I would recommend the service. I would like to see a reduction in the delivery fee to be competitive with other, similar services.
Place your order and Voilà, it'll be at your doorstep.
As a part of a campaign, I received a discount to try Voilà by Sobeys. Voilà is a grocery delivery service which delivers directly from the warehouse to your house. So no store inbetween or going to the store to pick up the order. The website is very easy to navigate, various departments are well organized and setting up an account is simple. Once you've filled your cart, you pick the date and time window ( a 1hour window) you would like, fill in payment details and place the order. Confirmation email with all details is sent to the email address on the account immediately. There is a fee of 7.99 to avail this service, which personally I think is too much and this would not be something that I would use regularly. i picked the time window of 4-5 pm. I received another email in the early afternoon confirming my order being picked and no out of stock items. I received a call around 3:30 to ensure I was expecting an order and letting me know that it would be delivered soon. I didn't expect the ladies would show up at 4pm but they did. They parked and called again to make sure they were off loading the groceries as per my preference. They were really lovely and polite, were professional and following the social distancing recommendations and wearing masks and gloves too. Once all bags were off loaded, one of them took the time to explain the whole process to make sure I was aware of everything before I ordered again. That was very sweet of her to do. The truck was well equipped and all my groceries were delivered in great condition and temperature controlled. I was surprised at how well the groceries were packed in bags and the condition of each product was great. I would totally recommend this to anyone and everyone. The service was great and the two ladies were wonderful. The only deterrent would be the fee for me,but other than that....I would use it again.
I enjoyed this experience
I received a coupon to try out this service and I enjoyed it over all. I think the products offered are of great quality but are higher priced than my usual groceries, I would probably use this service again in the future if I need a delivery service, but will stick with my normal grocery shopping for now.
