good but expensive

I was super excited to selected by @chickadvisor to try a new grocery service - Voila by Sobeys.
I got a $25 discount coupon on a $100 grocery bill.
It was an easy, smooth and a very efficient process from ordering via their website to the groceries getting delivered right outside my home.
Everything was nicely packed and handled. I was hesitant to order fresh produce online but Voila by Sobeys surprised me, everything was super fresh. Absolutely no issues with expiry dates. The delivery was quick and everything was done professionally.
I had to pay a delivery fee of $7.99.
The only downside was the cost. I felt it is more expensive as compared to the other grocery stores I usually shop from.

The products were so fresh and picked as I would pick in person. I would definitely be using Sobeys again and have recommended to my family and friends:)
The website is also very user friendly and allows me to edit my order in case I forgot something. Also, did I mention the delivery charge is cheaper then it’s competitors.

Very convenient

It was so convenient to order online and receive the orders at my front door when i wanted them. I liked how the delivery team kept me updated and gave me an eta before arriving. The produce came fresh and chilled.

So efficient and fresh!

Since the quarantine period began, we have tried a number of grocery delivery services. Voila is now in the list of our favourites! Selecting our grocery items was easy and clearly showed which items were out of stock for our chosen delivery date. There were no surprises when the order arrived - everything we asked for and that was "in stock" arrived with our delivery. The individual who delivered our groceries called 10 minutes before arriving, brought all of them to the door on time, and bagged them appropriately. He was wearing a mask and gloves the entire time. Refrigerated and frozen items were ice cold and very fresh.

The one thing we thing could be improved is the variety of items and brands available. They definitely do not offer everything that is available in store, and options are limited when the one brand is sold out. More variety would earn this service a spot way ahead of their competitors!

OK experience

I got the chance to use Voila to order groceries from Sobeys. I found the experience to be a little slow - especially waiting for items to load. I enjoy going to the grocery store to see options so I found having to search a little difficult. In terms of the value I got for the code that I #gotitfree, I found the delivery fee was too much. I would recommend this to people in a rush and have no time to go shopping. However, this discount did not seem crazy enough or the experience does not make me strive to go shopping online again.

It’s pretty good if you buy often at sobeys

It’s really good if Sobeys is the first option for you do your groceries, I found it a little too expensive.
Overall just like any other delivery, which is pretty ok for me, I prefer going to the supermarket and choosing.

I usually do walmart online grocery, i use this voila for the first time , because shipping was send to me by chickadviser, i gave it a try .. nice fresh and clean grocery.. i am impressed very affordable price and good quality products.. I am happy

The Voila experience through Sobey's was very straightforward and easy to use!

I like that it has a specific time frame for delivery and it even indicates when the order needs to be submitted to meet the time selected.

The menu to search for items was easy to use and I like how the featured items were highlighted at the top of each list.

All lists could be filtered using a number of methods to help the user compare their items of interest.

The order was received as expected and the delivery person was super friendly.

I would certainly be interested in using this service in the future. Thanks, ChickAdvisor for the opportunity to test and review the service by offering a discount coupon!

Great Service and Uber friendly staff!

I received a $25 coupon to try Voila by Sobeys. I have to say, this is as good as it gets!

I started by creating my account, which is quite easy! An email, postal code and a confirmation... then your in!

I was surprised to see that there were Well.ca and Farmboy products available. The selection needs to be expanded but you can't expect any service to carry every single product on the market. I also noticed that a few of the items are a little more pricey then I am used to, but this is a delivery service and it's only $.50 or so more.

I filled my cart, picked my delivery time ( there was lots available), added my credit card and entered my coupon code and literally... Voila! I was done!

I received a confirmation email with a time that I could edit my order until. I received a phone call from the driver who told me he would arrive in 10 minutes and would knock on the door when the groceries were ready for me to bring inside. I heard the knock and noticed that he was standing by the truck waiting for me to come out. He took a few steps closer to explain that the temperatures of all the products and how the process works. He even told me about a bag buyback program. He then thank me for my business and acknowledged that I was a first time buyer! Amazing!

The quality is just as good as you would get from the actual store! I was quite surprised actually.

Great Service!

This is a great grocery service. So quick and painless, and can accommodate changes to orders easily through their app. I didn't even hear them when the dropped the groceries, they were just suddenly all here! Voila indeed!

The products I find much more fresh than other grocery services. I love that they come directly from a warehouse, which limits the amount of people who have to be in stores in contact with each other and ensures fresher product. Will use again for sure!
