Great deal to score for high priced grocery items, I highly recommend to give it a try. And voila service is excrement and quick.

Good service

I used Voilà's curbside pickup service and found it very efficient. There were plenty of free one-hour pickup windows available. My order was accurate, The whole process, from ordering to pickup, was smooth and hassle-free. I saved time .

Above average pricing

I decided to try Voila for the first time thanks to Butterly for sending me a voucher in exchange for my honest review.

I've been wanting to use Voila for a while now, but have always been more of a fan of picking my own produce when I'm at a grocery store. Figured planning my daughter's 1st birthday party was the best excuse to use them.

Got a call a couple minutes before the delivery man arrived, who was super friendly, gave me a run down of their service. Unfortunately some of the items I ordered weren't available, weren't included in my order and I was refunded the difference. A little disappointed about that, but I'll just have to make a separate trip out to the get what was missing. I didn't feel like there was a lot of notice for getting the email of missing items.

Maybe I expected a little more from the quality of some of the produce received. I'm sure I could've had some of the produce taken back, but I was on a bit of a time crunch.

Overall, it's a great service in terms of convenience. But the pricing of everything is also slightly more than you'd get charged in person. I'm also... too shy of a person to ask for replacements if I think they brought me bad produce. I would have definitely picked better quality produce had I been in store, in terms of fruit and vegetables.

Privet but quality and service is impeccable

Finding products, placing an order and scheduling delivery was pretty simple and straightforward. To check the status of my order I had to login which is nice as you don’t get inundated with emails.
Before delivering, the delivery staff called as requested. Great care was taken into bring the groceries to my doorstep. I was given time to check if the order was as requested or if there were any missing or damaged items. Professional, courteous delivery staff, absolutely loved that part. Sobey’s pricing is a bit higher along the lines of Co-op but I know that when I need immediate assistance there is a reliable service available to me.

Incredible service that I have already used again

The Service:
• The service offers some of the same deals as in store but also some different deals which entices you to check in every week to see what deals they have.
• They had a couple of products that they offered as free samples. I got a bag of chips and a box of cereal, so they're not just tiny items either.
• Site/app has a tab that features local Alberta products. I am passionate about shopping and supporting local!
• Variety of unique delicious looking recipes and the ability to search the site directly for the ingredients of the recipe and add them to your cart as you need.

The Delivery Process:
• Delivery driver called 15 minutes before arrival to ensure I was home
• Delivery driver was the first delivery driver since I moved to Edmonton 6 months ago to fully follow delivery instructions and actually come to the door of my basement suite, not to my upstairs neighbour's door
Since it was my first delivery, the driver thoroughly went over the delivery process, explained that if there are produce, delicate products like bread/eggs, or any substitutions the recipient gets time to examine them and if they aren't satisfied then they can hand it back and get it removed from their bill.

Great for Small Shops

I recently used the Voila service from Safeway for the first time. I used it because I got a code from Butterly. This was great to use for a small shop and honestly I probably would not use it for a big shop. When I have to run to the grocery store for just a few things it was nice to have this code because then I was not walking around the grocery store purchasing unnecessary things but rather I was able to add to my cart just what I needed and not get distracted by other things which would cause me to spend more money.

First voila order

Easy to submit the order online. Pricing was fair - items were the same as prices in store, not marked up, however, all items are not available to order. When I attempted to order beef ribs and ground beef, the search brought up no results. The delivery fee is also a bit steep - every order is $4-7 and pick up locations are very limited. The Sobeys location near me wasn't available for pickup and the one showing up wasn't that close. Probably wouldn't use the service regularly.
