I tried this expecting really great things but I was really disappointed. It is quite pricey and I found that it did not work very well at all. I find that my good old stand-by Tiger Balm works much better than this. It does have the benefit of not having the smell, but in terms of effectiveness, I would not waste my money again.
I found Voltaren worked for a very short period of time. When I first applied it, it felt great but few minutes later back to the pain.
This product does nothing for me, but my grandma swears by it. I think it really depends on the type of pain /ache and whether or not you believe the product works for you. For me Lakota is my go-to gel for muscle / join aches, stiffness, etc.
My doctor suggested I use this topical pain reliever as I can't tolerate anything that contains ASA or codeine . Well, my skin is very sensitive and I broke out in a terrible, painful rash from one application. It was weeks before my skin calmed down and so I'm giving it a thumbs down for that reason. I rally can't judge if the gel really relieves pain or not.
I found out the hard way that i was allergic to this product... the pain reliever in this product such be marked on the packaging... my hands turned red and numb and i had a severe asthma attack... turns out the pain killer is Aspirin... i have Aspirin induced asthma... Please mark the painkiller on the box!!!
I have a lot of issues with my ankle, and I tried this when it was swollen. I didn't find it helped at all. Made no improvement to pain or inflammation, and I found that it was quite sticky. I also tried it on my back one day when it was sore and it didn't help at all and even though I let it dry, it was sticky on my shirt.
