These have a delicious coconut flavor you won't find on most pre-packaged cookies. However, they are a little hard, not just crisp but hard, but a little milk brings it all together for a tasty snack!
Voortman Bakery Coconut cookies are one tough cookie.
I was very excited to try these cookies as I love the taste of coconut. These cookies did have a decent, satisfactory coconut taste, however the texture was very disappointing for me. The best word I can think of to describe the texture is tough. It is very difficult to take a bite out of one of these cookies and a jaw workout to chew through them. I would prefer a softer or even a crunchier texture. These cookies are pretty decent when soaked in milk or hot tea/coffee. However, this is not enough to make me want to purchase them (#gotitfree through chickadvisor) and I would not recommend these to a friend.
These cookies had a really great taste to them that they were hard as a rock almost like someone and left them out all night or baked them too long. My aunt who tried them had false teeth and she almost lost her top dentures trying to chew them.
Voortman Coconut Cookies taste really coconutty!
These are my favorite because I really like coconut. They, like the Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies were a nice size. They were not as dry as the Oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. I really enjoyed the coconut taste, however they were a bit sweeter than I like. I would definitely buy these if I were in the mood for coconut cookies. My husband is not a fan of coconut and really didn't care for them. I would recommend them if you really like sweet coconut. #gotitfree
I have bought this product a few times ,as we (as in both adults) like these coconut cookies more so being both adults in our household are diabetic and we count carbohydrates in order to know how much insulin we need to cover our food intake. These cookies are a tad more expensive than regular sized bags of cookies BUT the temptation not to eat a lot, is better with smaller package.
