Insanely Delicious Almond Cookies

These are one of my favorite cookies and it is hard to stop at one. These cookies are a buttery shortbread and they are topped with a rich flavored almond glaze. The cookies melt in your mouth. Most cookies with almond extract have a very mild flavor, but in these cookies the almond taste really comes through.

These cookies are delicious. My family and I love to have them around Christmas time. They are so light and buttery, with a noticeable taste of almond. The sweetness of the cookie is just right. The cookie crumbles when you bite into it. The also smell delicious- again like almond extract. Great cookie to eat with a cup of tea.
