I wouldn't recommend

We decided to go against our normal Kroger or Meijer cakes for my daughters 2nd birthday, and it was one of the worst cakes I had ever eaten. It tasted like it may have been sitting on the shelf for weeks, the frosting was hard as a rock in some places, and it was poorly decorated (we had pre ordered it).
Would definitely not recommend buying any cake from the Walmart Bakery.

I would buy again

These cakes are really tasty. I enjoy the marble cake with butter cream frosting . Ther price is reasonable. And they decorate to your liking if you order ahead or usually have some premade that you can grab and go.

Wow!!

I have ordered cakes for birthdays, Thanksgiving and more..even just for a nice cake for fun!! Each and every time, they have made it way past my expectations!! The decorations are wonderful, as well as the taste. It is moist and not dry. Which is always a scary thing to think of getting something you can't use. I never have to worry about that. I highly recommend!!!

Love the variety of things that you may choose

For the price you're getting that quality they're cheaper but they do really cute designs and last-minute orders and the flavor is good. I plan on trying to get cupcakes next time I'm with so many kids a big sheet cake is actually opinion happened to cut

Great cakes

The cake tasted and looked great..i will continue to have all special day cakes made at walmart..my son loved his nascar themed cake and the fortnite cake i have in order for my other son will be just as good..

Pleasantly surprised

Walmart gets a lot of hate and rightfully so. I never buy their produce (ugh, dried out oranges and lemons, anyone?), I don't buy their meat and I don't buy their dairy. However, I love Walmart bakery goods! The prime example is their cakes, they're very good and a great value. It's a typical American cake, nothing fancy, with a sweet topping. It's always moist with a tender crumb. Sometimes that's all I'm looking for.
I recommend a lot of their other bakery items too, such as their French bread, which isn't French at all, but a delicious dense bread that can be purchased for pennies!

Great Tasting Affordable Cakes

I have bought a few cakes from Walmart whether it be for my own birthday or my son's birthday. They are affordable and for the price, the quality is pretty good. They also taste pretty good and the icing I usually get is not overly sweet like some bakery cakes are. There is usually never any leftover cake when we order one.

Walmart cake for birthday.
I picked it up and it was what i ordered it tasted great the kids were happy. Tho i would recommend not geting red iceing, because it stains.

Only place we go

Walmart bakery is the only place we will go to have our children's birthday cakes made. The cake always tastes amazing and is moist. The icing is always perfect and is tasty. The cakes are always perfect.

Gross

They store them in the freezer and don't even bake them in store, the cake decorator decorates cakes in advance so the frosting tastes like freezer. The cakes are dry, colours look off and everyone I know has gotten bathroom issues from eating them
