Made me breakout

I bought this night cream because it was on sale. It’s very rich and creamy but something in this cream causes my face to sting when I first apply it. The stinging goes away after a few minutes so I could live with that, but I’ve noticed that I’ve developed a few pimples. So I’ve concluded that this cream is blocking my pores because I’m not normally prone to breakouts. Now I’m afraid to use it on my face. I might just use it up as a hand or body cream.
