Weleda lip butter
I liked the lip butter. It has a nice texture the liquid is clear. Its a bit too liquidy to my taste. I prefer creamier lip butters. The lip butter does stay on the lips for a while. I like the ingredient list simple and clean. The moisturizer does keep the lips nice and plump. It is on the pricey side of lip butter but worth it #gotitforfree
You have to reapply it often
I got this product for free in exchange for my honest review. It is on a pricier side, but the ingredients are clean and natural as the brand itself. It is called lip butter for a reason - its consistency is more like oil. I prefer conventional lip butters or lip balms as this one needs to be reapplied more often, and my lips feel drier than usual. Overall, if you are a fan of natural beauty, this product may suit you better.
Great product but hard to get it all out
I always have dry lips in the winter. Although it's not winter time, I'm sure my lips could use some hydration to make them more supple! It literally goes on like butter and provides nice hydration to my lips. I like that it doesn't have a sweet artificial flavour, so my partner and I both use it. The only thing I don't like about this lip butter is the tube. These style of tubes are notorious for not being able to squeeze every last drop out of it. I often cut the tubes so that I can get the most out of the product. The problem with doing this is that I can't really carry around the lip butter in my purse. It would only be for home use.
Great on the go product
I am a lip balm addict, and with good reason. My lips are extremely dry, and crack very easily. I try hard to take care of them, and try to do so with the best ingredients possible. I really loved Weleda Skin Food Lip Butter, though there were a few things I wasn't expecting about the product. I enjoyed the application, the beautiful feel of the product, the wonderful honey scent and taste, and how nourished it made my lips feel. I would not however call it a butter, it's much thinner than that, and much more liquid. And as I discovered, if you carry it in your pocket all day, expect almost complete liquid when you try to use it. It will work, but it will be messy. There's also alcohol in it, and I don't know why, nor if it's a good type of alcohol, or a drying type, as I can't find the information. At the end of the day though, the lip butter works well and is overall pleasant to use, and that makes it something I would repurchase and recommend
