I wasn't overly impressed with Wen and the entire kit.
The smell is mid to mild mint scent, if you don't care for mint you probably wont like it.
The conditioner is very thick, and after a few minutes my scalp tingles, which is probably the mint, but that didn't bother me. I had a really hard time washing it all out, and I only applied from mid-length to the ends. My hair felt somewhat hydrated, and was soft and shinny for the day, but I didn't notice any long term benefits.
I only used it once a week, no, my hair did not fall out.
I won't buy this again, only because I have found other brands that work the same, for a cheap price or work much better at moisturizing my locks.
This product sounds so good in the infomercial but was a huge disappointment. First of all its kind of involved to use and secondly my hair felt dirty, maybe I used to much but I won't use it again, boy am I glad I had a gift certificate for that one.
So yes.. I was one of the ones who fell for the commercial with the girls with the lucious beautiful hair from using this product. I paid about 30ish $$ and it was just not worth it! It came with the cleansing conditioner, a hair mask, mouse and a leave in treatment. After using it for the first few times, my hair felt soft but not that great..id still have to use my regular argan oil after my shower just to make it soft. I followed the instructions as well ..10 pumps for medium length hair!?..jeeze lol. The smell was really nice and refreshing , I got the pomegrante scent. I did happen to notice after a few weeks of using it my hair started to feel really dry in some spots, and the leave-in conditioner didnt do squat! All in all was not impressed with this product and will never spend money on it ever again. It make work for others im not sure, but just not for me :)
I wanted to like this product and really tried. But there were too many thing stacked against it - the price being foremost. I have long, thick hair so the amount of product i had to use was a deterrent as well. I found the product left my hair greasy on the second day and couldn't get over the fact that it doesn't lather. I was disappointed.
I have thin, limp, hair and a sensitive scalp. I was very excited to use Wen, and was happy with it for the first handful of uses. I noticed a difference in my hair after only 2 uses, but after a while my hair started to look and feel greasy. It is not a terrible cleanser, but I think there is too much hype with this product. Another downfall is that you have to use alot of the product. The instructions call for 10 pumps, and more for longer hair. My hand was overflowing with product! Also, at this rate a bottle would not last long. I have tried the original almond mint formula, pomegranite, and fig. Almond mint is the one I would recommend to someone who really wants to try. Fig is meant for thicker, course hair...it smells medicinal. Am I glad I tried it? Yes, I am. Would I reorder???? Nope.
I was extremely disappointed in this conditioner. I had heard great things about it, but it did not make my hair any silkier or softer. After a while my hair started to feel heavy and greasy. The styling products and hair mask that comes along with the initial purchase are great, but the conditioner itself is not worth the price.
I've tried Wen hair care products and liked the way they made my hair feel however I found that after extended use (more than 1 bottle), it felt like my hair was getting caked with something. I have extremely fine hair and am disappointed that they only have the one scent for fine hair. I only use 4 pumps, a lot less than what they recommend, but it's more than enough. I enjoy using this product every now and then just to change up my routine but couldn't use it all the time due to price and the way it makes my hair feel after awhile.
