I love a change when it comes to the same old chocolate chip cookies, so I add butterscotch chips in as well to change things up. I usually buy Chipits brand which is Hershey but they are about $5 per 250 gram bag. So I bought the 250 gram bag of Western Family.

They don't have any flavor at all and they don't melt. They are like wax bits in your cookies.

So I guess sometimes it is not worth it to buy a lower priced or non higher end name brand. It is nice when they do compare nicely, but these are horrible and though cheaper, they are a rip off because they are really bad.

Sorry Western Family, these are a no go for me.
