Superstar of drugstore makeup

The Color Icon blush is literally the superstar of the drugstore makeup world. Incredible formula, immense pigmentation at such a great price. I like the new packaging better. If you want a more intense look, use a more dense blush brush. Or, you want just a subtle flush of colour on the cheeks, try using a more fluffy brush. Either way, the application is effortless and you do get a slight glow (but not at all shimmery) sheen and a silky texture. Truly an iconic line of blushers!

Its alright

The packaging and presentation looks really nice, and I was intrigued by the unique purple colour of "In a purple haze", but this blush was a big disappointment to me. I'm glad it was so cheap, I got it for like $2.99 at Walgreens. The pigmentation just isn't there. And for the little colour payoff that you do get, it looks really bad on me. It probably wouldn't even show up on someone with a darker skin tone than me. Major disappointment. When you try to blend it out, it blends itself away. So strange.
