My everyday eyeliner
This eyeliner is one that I always come back to, no matter what. It is very opaque and dark in colour and does not budge at all. It is easily usable for a winged eyeliner and lining my lash line. It easily comes off in the shower. I recommend it for sure!
The eyeliner is not bad at all for the price, however I would not purchase again because it was SO hard to remove (didn't realize it was waterproof). Otherwise it's not so bad, the colour is dark and not hard to apply.
Long lasting, smudge-proof
Uses a felt tip brush to create a precise, eye defining line.
Create ultra fine & dramatically bold lines
Definitely need water proof makeup remover :)
Bought this product in shade 'black-brown'. The plastic applicator makes it difficult to line eyes in desired shape. The color appears nicely but does not last a long time before smudging or crumbling.
I too bought this hoping it would do the trick but I must say it was a disaster very messy!!! It constantly stuck my eyelashes together or to my lid was soo sticky feeling, Do not buy this!!!!!!
As a rule, I try to find makeup that strikes a good middle ground between affordability and quality, but I have come to see Wet N Wild as a cheap brand. However, when looking for liquid eyeliner suggestions, someone absolutely swore by this H20 Proof stuff from Wet N Wild. I was reluctant, but compared to most other liquid liners, it was at least priced nicely and hey, it's waterproof too.
Color me surprised - it's actually quite impressive. I've used all kinds of liquid liner brush tips and I actually kind of like the stiff tip more than a regular brush tip. It was kind of like a calligraphy pen where I could control the thickness of the line. It takes a little practice, but you can get a smooth line out of this, even if you need to lightly draw the line on first with an eye pencil.
I got the Ultra Black bottle and it's definitely quite a bold shade of black. I'm not sure how those other colors hold up, though; I tend to get the blackest black liners I can find. And while I didn't jump into a pool after applying it, I do have a problem where my eyes will occasionally water a little for no reason and I might have a couple tears falling. I was thrilled to see this stuff did not smudge or run like other liners (pencils and liquid) that I've tried!
The downside, as other reviewers have mentioned, is it does stay wet for a little while and if you open your eyes too wide, it will leave a streak above the eyelid. I would recommend applying this liner to your eyelid and then fanning your closed eye with your hand until it dries, then do the other eye. It will take a little while, but if you don't wait for it to dry, you may end up ruining your eyeshadow if you're wearing any.
In short, the pros outweigh the cons and I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who wants a good, bold, waterproof liquid liner for a reasonable price. I will absolutely buy it again and this is the first Wet N Wild product I can say that about.
I needed a liquid liner just for everyday use but, this was terrible. The applicator was to messy to use. Overall it gets the job done, waterproof and well its an eyeliner. But also it has it cons...TERRIBLE APPLICATOR. Just way to messy.
Fairly Cheap, But Also low in quality.
the brush is sponge tip and very hard to work with, and the colors compared to to non waterproof collection are limited.
with use of a separate liner brush, it might be good.
I got this eyeliner because it's hard to find liquid eyeliner in waterproof, and I had high hopes even though it was cheap, but I was very dissapointed. Although the packaging was cute, the product didn't work at all. It left a sticky mess on my eyelids and smeared onto my skin everytime i opened my eyes, and it wasn't waterproof at all. It wasn't even black, it was more of a bad grey. I gave it three tries before I threw it out. Don't waste your money.
After trying the previous Wet N Wild Liquid eyeliner, I decided to try the Wet N Wild H20 Proof Liquid Eyeliner. It's a bit more expensive then the Mega Liner, and that's why I didn't try it at first. I purchased 881 Ultra Black / Ultra- noir, so it helps make my eyes stand out.
Because Wet N Wild products are so cheap, they are popular among the teens and youth of America. It can be very hard to find these in stock anywhere. If you are facing problems ordering this product in your local store, contact the manager of your store, or order it online. To avoid shipping costs, and delays speak to the manager of your store. Walgreens and Rite Aid both sell Wet n Wild H20 Proof Liquid Eyeliner online.
Wet N Wild H20 Proof Liquid Eyeliner has a felt-tip brush that they claim makes it easy to put on. WRONG! The felt-tip brush actually makes it harder to apply then the Mega's brush. Imagine using a marker to put on your eyeliner with, that's exactly what you are using. It's pointed yes, but still leaves you with less control then a regular paint brush applicator. Because of it's stiffness you are left with uneven lines when you apply it to your upper eyelid. You can't make the line thin like you can with the brush applicator. The felt-tip applicator can sometimes be overloaded with the liquid which can end up making a mess you can't clean up, as it's water-proof.
I would recommend purchasing both the Wet N Wild H20 Proof Liquid Eyeliner, and the Mega Liner. When you want to use the Wet N Wild H20 Proof Liquid Eyeliner use the applicator from the Mega Liner to give you the smooth fine appearance you desire.
Wet N Wild H20 Proof Liquid Eyeliner should be no more then $4, often sells for just about $3.99. If you've ended up paying more then $5 you've paid too much.
Wet N Wild H20 Proof Liquid Eyeliner Comes in the following colors: Smoky, Black-Brown, Espresso, and Ultra Black. Rumor has it, that Wet N Wild will be coming out with new colors for their liquid eyeliner series in the coming year.
I would rate Wet N Wild H20 Proof Liquid Eyeliner 9 out of 10 stars. If you need a liquid eyeliner that is water-proof then this is the one for you. I only rate it a 9 because I don't like the felt tip, and found it hard to control.
