Bought it at my local Chapters. I was intrigued by the cover actually a blue stylized wavy front page with the title strewn across in large font. The blurb on the back explains that it is actually a sort of prequel to Jane Eyre, the colonial masterpiece. So i bought it. And I read it. And I loved it. I'm sure you will too. Not the same style as JE, but modernized (ironically so as it is a prequel, written in the postcolonial). Loved it!
