I really enjoyed this product. The balance board is well built and can hold around 300 pounds. The exercises are fun and I really enjoyed the mini games. It tracks your progress overtime, which is pretty cool. It has a built in scale, which isn't exactly accurate, but it's relatively close. There are a handful of other Wii games that incorporate the Balance board (some fitness and some other), so if you're bored with the disk, you can switch it up and still be up and active.
This is good for evey age iv lost alot of wheigh with this theres a trainer and yoga and meny more i love this
The Wii fit is a great game to get you in shape even tough you don t go outside your home. You can do some aerobics, some yoga and others exercises.
you have someone that tells you if you do it right or not.
it's a good way to do exercises with your family.
I bought the wii fit over a year ago. If you have high expectations, it's not for you.
If you're a gamer and are looking for something to get you off the couch and having fun at the same time, then i would recommend this product.
If you're looking for a good workout, this definately isn't it. $100 isn't worth it, when there are a ton of awesome workout videos that will provide faster results.
It's good for a laugh, not for a work-out.
I was REALLY excited to try this product when I first bought it. There are a lot of activities (including jogging, hula hooping, yoga, and strength training exercises), plus a points system to unlock new ones. The scale gives you extra motivation, requiring you to set goals and graphing your weight over time. It even tests your balances and provides a pin system just in case you don't want EVERYONE knowing how much you weigh.
So...I shouldn't get bored, right? But I did. The "fitness instructors" are really mechanical, and even with different levels, poses and games being unlocked, I found them less and less entertaining as time went on. The weight tracking feature was nice, but I use it so little that the graphing feature doesn't show my loss/gain over time.
A fun novelty item, good as an exercise supplement, but...not a full time product unless you can force yourself to stick with boring, repetative activities.
This is a fun way to get some exercise. My biggest fear is that it would be like working out to a home video but it's nothing like that. For the yoga and strength training it measures your centre of balance and the weight you're applying from each leg/arm to tell you if you're doing the stretch correctly. You also don't get sick of it. I'll admit I don't use it as regularly as I could but I still use it every month. By far my favourite electronic purchase!
Honestly, it's overrated.
The games themselves get boring really fast.
It's the board that you REALLY need and the technology of it is so impressive.
Being able to play it with other games such as Raving Rabbids TV Party where you play with your bum is so much more fun.
Yoga poses move over - playing with your bum - priceless!
Finally found one of these! It's great, I dont have much time to exercise but this makes it fun! The games keep things challenging, yet not so bad that you give up.
While this will never replace my gym membership, I very much enjoy my Wii Fit. I use it on days where I don't really feel like exercising, but want to move a bit.
The balance games are fun and I like the yoga.
I wouldn't expect to loose weight from using the wii fit, but I think it's a fun add on to a fitness routine. Just be prepared for your Mii to look a bit tubby if your weight flucuates.
