A nostalgic candy.

Growing up Runts were in my top five favorite candy list. They were shaped like mini fruits and came in artificial fruit flavors. They had a crunchy shell with a hard powdered candy interior. I would always suck on them and savour the taste for a few seconds and then bite into them. Banana was always my favorite flavor. As an adult they don't taste as good as they did when I was a kid but they were still okay. I actually picked up a box a while back and it was somewhat nostalgic. I imagine my kids will enjoy these bite sized candies when they get older.

I was never the biggest fan of these candies growing up, I found the fruit flavours (expecally banana) were very artificial tasting ! Also the texture of these candies were always very wierd a hard crunch to start and then it turns to powder and disolves in your mouth.. over all not a fan of these candies !

Willy Wonkas Runts were my all time favourite as a kid . Not only were they good but why were fun because they were shaped like fruit . They are a hard candy full of sweet sugar and flavourig . I haven't had them since I was a kid but I remember them clear as day . I'm actually gonna go and find some because I have a craving for them now lol

These were one of my absolute favorites as a kid! The banana flavor was the best. As an adult I feel very differently about these though. They are no longer a candy that I am able to sit and enjoy. They are waxy, hard and once you bite inside they have the consistency of chalk :(

One of my favourite candies growing up. The banana ones were my favourite. I also used to love making picture with all the different fruit shapes while eating them.

Runts are the best little hard candies. I love the peaches and banana's. They're actually almost true to the flavour except full of sugar. Definitely great for a little treat.
