Hit or miss

I used to use Wilton candy melts all the time. They are pretty expensive so whenever they go on sale, I would purchase a bunch of bags at a local Michaels. Unfortunately, they just do not work for me. They melt unequally and dry way too fast. They used to work so well whenever I would make cake pops. Nowadays, I always have a unsuccessful encounter with it.
