Good texture, but didn't hydrate or plump

The ingredients look excellent, so I had high hopes for this to be great. This serum promises hydration and firmness; after a whole bottle, I didn't experience either of those promises. This serum didn't hydrate my skin before makeup and didn't help recover my skin overnight. I have dehydrated/oily skin that's acne prone, and I'm glad that this didn't break me out. I'm not sure how someone with dry or very dry skin would enjoy this serum.
