Hello healthy nails!

I bought this product for my 5 year old daughter who has a bad habit of biting her nails. She was worried about acquiring it, because on the internet I read that many times children have bad reactions to the product (vomiting, allergies) and I did not want the cure to be worse than the disease. I took a chance and bought it. It has worked super well. My daughter at first complained about the bad taste that it left in her mouth, but then she understood that she had to stop the habit of biting her nails so as not to have the bitter taste. She took us almost a month, but now her nails are nice and growing. I don't put the product on her as often anymore, because she's already kicking that habit, which helps me save money. I recommend it!

Only thing I found that works!!!

I've been chewing my nails all my life, and I've tried everything over the years. I've tried taping my fingers, gloves, sitting on my hands and all kinds of non chew stuff that was supposed to work. they never worked. yet this little bottle goes on like a clear polish and stays on, the nasty taste lasting for as long as it doesn't chip off. LOVE IT!

Anti-nail Biting + thumb sucking

My youngest son picked up a habit at a couple months old. He no longer liked his soother but preferred sucking on 2 fingers on his hand. As much as we thought it was cute while he was small.......its not the case now.

He will be 4 in December and started JK this September so we knew we were going to have to deal with the finger sucking to try to get him out of the habit during the day. Now he only sucks on them when hes tired or when he gets sad. But starting school, playing outside, all those toys and germs ugh and then those tiny little fingers in his mouth.........we don't need him sick.

I remember my sister when she was young use to bite her nails and my mom would put this red stuff on them. So I was on mission to find something for my little man.
I was at the pharmacy and happen to walk by the nail polish section and saw Witch Craft STOP IT, It an anti-nail bite and thumb sucking liquid that goes on like a nail polish. Perfect we will get it.

Its still a bit of a battle to get it on him as it doesn't smell the best but once on no more sucking of the fingers. Hes been doing good so far since we have been using it and got the finger sucking down to maybe once a day and night. Lets hope by the new year we have nipped this in the butt.

This nail polish is a miracle. I've bitten my nails even since I was child and nothing has made me stop like this product. By using stop it I no longer have to hide my nails and I can now put nail polish on my long nails.

My bf has an awful nail biting habit.
He's been biting his nails since he was a young kid and it's a habit he didn't bother to quit until earlier this year when I mentioned it to him. It wasn't enough for me to suggest he stop biting his nails whenever I saw him doing it so when we went into a Shoppers Drug Mart I suggested that we pick up a nail polish to try to stop his habit. It was about $10.99 at SDM.
How it works is that you apply this as a clear coat nail polish and it has a bitter taste to it.
It is not a matte finish, it is a clear glossy finish.
The nail polish has an unpleasant bitter taste to it that will linger in your mouth for at least a full minute after you stop biting/sucking your nails. I tested it out just to see how it tasted and I agree with Dale that the lingering bitter taste is a strong deterrent.
After a few of months of being vigilant on applying the product has ceased my bf's bad habit of nail biting. This stuff works as a great deterrent to nail biting!
