Bad
Processed chicken balls with sweet & sour sauce. Very sweet and very salty. Not good. I bought on sale for half price. Vould mot imagine paying full price.
terrible taste
Tried it for the first time and the taste was so very bad - really chewy chicken and an odd, extremely unpleasant taste to the sauce. I actually had to throw out the entire package.
DREADFUL "FOOD"! DO NOT BUY!!
I spent $7.99 CDN on this box of **** and can only say - buyer beware! The balls were tiny and hard to chew. I cooked for the total amount depicted on the side of the box. The pains in my stomach for four whole days was awful, and I had to drink a whole bottle of Kaopectate of that time for the pain to subside. I do not know if it was bad chicken or bad sauce, but believe me, I am not going anywhere near this kind of food again! I was feeling lazy after a hard few days, and "treated" myself. Lesson learned..... ;'(
Disappointed!
This was the first time I purchased frozen Chinese food. Giant Tiger had the Wong Wing products on sale, $3.99. I bought the sweet and sour chicken and the chicken egg rolls.
This was the absolute worst s&s;chicken I have ever eaten. The taste and texture is poor on a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a 1. The egg rolls were a bit better 3/10. This is from a guy who loves Chinese food.
My family has been enjoying Wong Wing products for a few years now. It's a nice, easy dinner option. We recently tried the Sweet & Sour Chicken flavour for the first time and it was ok, but we didn't enjoy it as much as the other flavours and products. The flavour was just not as appealing.
I definitely did not like this one, sorry. I thought it would be a good change, but no, I'll stick to my homemade. I will not buy this or recommend it to anyone.
I love the Wong wing brand when buying Chinese food at my local grocery store, all of their products are great. This sweet & sour chicken takes 4 1/2 minutes in the microwave and the sauce is super yummy and sticky, great over fried rice. These are about $6.00. Quick meal.
I actually really liked these. I got them with a $4 rebate from checkout 51, and was excited because I had been eyeing them for a while. It was quite tasty, although a little vinegar-y tasting. They cook really quickly- about 3 1/2 minutes in the microwave which is super convenient.
