I bought this upon recomedation from a man at Sally's beauty supply store.
I have a short asymmetrical pixie haircut and I like to have a lot of stand up texture when styling. I didn't want anything that would make my hair feel hard or crunchy. And I didn't want a pomade which makes my hair look a little greasy if I use enough to stand my hair up.
This stuff is the best I can find on store shelves. I wasn't sure as it is blue and says matte but the product doesn't turn your hair blue and there is a little bit of sheen to it. It says firm flexible hold.
Although it does add a really good amount of texture and will stand my hair up, I still need a hairspray to hold it that way.
This stuff is super thick and would work on medium coarse hair that isn't overly curly or long. I have thick, coarse, curly, frizzy Brazilian hair that is very stubborn.
It's and awesome product for a disheveled look, but not strong enough for me. Awesome product though!
