X-Dragon Portable Solar Charger

Very worth for it's money, however the solar charging does take quite a while to charge. Long lasting life for the battery and is very well built for the outdoors.

This solar power bank is the first of its kind to really impress me. Power banks in general are extremely useful, especially if you're taking your phone with you all day and use it quite a lot. But in the past solar power banks charged so slowly without a USB cable that I found them pretty lackluster. This solar power bank from X-Dragon surprised me when it charged much more quickly in direct sunlight than expected. It's still not as fast as USB charging, but I was able to refill 50-75% of the charge in an afternoon's time by leaving it in the sun.

This power bank has several features that make it a good choice for hiking or camping, or just travelling a lot. It has a flashlight built into the back which is actually surprisingly strong, it's water resistant and very sturdy, so it resists bumps and splashes, and it has a clip on the back so it can be attached to your bag, clothes, etc. It holds 10,000 mAh, which is enough to charge my Samsung Galaxy three times fully. The charging speed is limited by the 1a ports, but the truth is that most smartphones limit the power they can be charged with to about 1a anyways, so 2.1 or 2.4 charging ports are usually not faster unless charging a tablet. It also has 2 ports, so you can charge 2 devices at once.

The visual design of this power bank is pretty rugged, all black and orange with lots of grips, so it really looks like a power bank meant to be taken outdoors. It'll stick out sitting at home on your coffee table, but it works very well and seems to be very well built, both of which I appreciate.
