Way better then the wii! using your body as the controller is genius!

I LOVE MY KINECT!

I have never been so active before, while having an absolute blast! I love the dancing games, and love how upbeat the music genres are. I rock out to Lady Gaga, and don't even notice how badly I'm sweating! There are tons of fun games to choose from. I also love to laugh at the "videos" it captures throughout the games. You don't realize how crazy and hilarious you look, and sometimes it's a little embarrassing! LOL

This game was definitely worth the money spent!

Kinect is so much fun!! My parents bought it for Christmas this year and we actually all got involved and had a really good time. Just be warned, it takes pictures of you!! I was playing in my housecoat and had a bad scare when I saw snapshots of myself on the television :( haha. Really though, you get a great workout while having fun (it sounds cliche but it's true). Also, make sure you have a large space because it requires a lot of movement and jumping around.

We bought this as a christmas gift for our oldest daughter when the kinect first came out so about two years ago now and the whole family has loved it!! We already had the xbox system so we just had to get the kinect sensor on it's own which was nice but still cost around $150.00 at the time. The sensor came with one game "Kinect Adventures!" which is a lot of fun to play either alone but even better with a second player.My husband and I also bought her the "Kinectimals", which is cute in itself however it only a one person game so with three kids there is always a bit of whinning on whos turn it is.
We do also own the WII but find that I perfer the Kinect. The reason for this is because as much as the Wii advetised that it was to keep you off the couch, I tell you kids can find anyway to play the games on the couch, which with the Kinect you can't! You are the controller so off that couch you have to come to be able to enjoy the games! Not saying that this takes place of daily activity but it does sure help.
The big down fall I find with this system, as well as any system out there is the price of the games, which usally range from 39.00(low) to 59.99 (high), and usally the good games are on the higher end. Overall I love this product and would recommend it to anyone, it is great fun for anyone who either wants it to help with weight loss, pass some time or be able to enjoy some family time on a rainy cold day/night. LOTS OF FUN

I love this product, pretty fun, I like the whole idea of this and the games are pretty fun, worth paying a few hundred for it but is better to catch a sale as the game are not cheap

LOVE this product! Only thing you have to make sure is that once you move the couch etc check the measurements and make sure you have the right amount of space! Got this as a gift from my brother, and before moving to this bigger location lived in a tiny apartment and couldnt use it for that little bit :( But once moving to my bigger place now, I use it allt he time and it makes me and even my 2 year old son want to join in and jump around! Its really cute and a great way to workout in the rain, or even if you cant afford personal trainers!

I tried this at a friends house and loved it. I find myself planning it at her place all the time. With Christmas around the corner this is definitely on my list. Lots of fun games and a great way to shed some unwanted pounds!

I honestly love this gadget and I prefer it over the Wii and the PlayStation Move because it allows you to get really into it without having to worry about controllers like the other two systems. I had gotten it for about $100 because I saw it at Walmart on sale and I'm glad I purchased it then because I don't think I would find it for that price again. I love all of the games the Kinect has because it appeals to everyone whether it be sports,dancing or workout games. My person favourite is Dance Central and I am glad that I purchased this.

I absolutely love this. It works great and there are so many fun games. I love doing my workout using this and Your Shape: Fitness Evolved. The kinect makes sure you are doing all the exercises and stretches properly by tracking all you're movements. I would recommend this for young children, teens and adults. It's fun for the whole family!

This unit is an entire fun workout system. All the Kinect games I've played so far involve a lot of ducking, dodging, jumping and just plain moving. All the games are extremely interactive and fun (I especially love Kinect Adventures) and gets your heart pumping. This unit is revolutionizing the gaming world. I'm sure it will help kick into shape many of today's unhealthy gamers.

I'm looking forward to some gamer eye candies in the near future ;-)
